The city center is nestled between the approximately 400 meter high castle hill with the castle Lindenfels the wooded Schenkenberg. The region is characterized by a beautiful forested mountain landscape. In the southwest of the city is the 576 meter high Krehberg. Not far away is located at 605 meters, the highest peak in the Middle Odenwald. A beautiful area to really relax, to wander through the woods, to enjoy nature or to walk on cultural paths.
