The property was immaculate and had everything we needed (except for a can opener.) We loved cooking in the kitchen, watching TV with the kids, admiring the lightning bugs at twilight, and sitting by the creek observing the fish. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed. The kids really enjoyed the arcade games. The only major issue was the layout of the upstairs. The stairs lead up to the bedroom, so there is no door on the bedroom entrance, and you have to go through the bedroom to get to the loft. Whoever is staying in the loft has to walk into the bedroom to get to the bathroom. It would probably be great if it was all kids upstairs, but it was a little weird to have no privacy in the upstairs bedroom as a gown woman. Also, the street is extremely steep. I guess we should have expected that in the mountains, but we were nervous we weren’t going to make it up sometimes. Overall, the property is beautiful, and we like that it was well off the road into the woods. We also appreciated that the cleaner contacted us about something that was left behind. We enjoyed our stay, and appreciate the use of the cabin.
