The home is very spacious with a great amount of beds with a nice jacuzzi right next to the house which is always unoccupied or if their is people their all very nice all house neighbors were very nice and friendly. The balcony has a great view and the patio is very nice to have a view of the island and the south padre water.
Everything what's good probably need more blankets but overall it was great staying there

This property is a very nice 2 story that is right on the bay in a gated community.
It has great amenities like a washer/dryer, coffee pot, and new appliances, and has a fishing dock and pool next door. I would recommend staying here as it is very close to Port Isobel as well as South Padre Island.
Amazing house and views. Only thing was no garbage bags and no laundry detergent to start a load before we left.. House was really clean and would book again in the future. Really roomy for our family of six.

Great location and nice facility. The only thing we would have like to see was some cooking spices, oil etc. the basics for spicing up some meals. When you come 3500 miles you do not bring those kind of items with you and you hate to purchase it for a couple day use. Other than that superb stay!

Pantry items like oils and spices are not usually stored in the home for sanitary purposes. We encourage our guests to bring any food-related items they may need during their visit.
We hope to host you for another truly carefree and great vacation in the future!
The property was good, but there are two items I would suggest for improvement:
1. Leave a broom for sweeping the floor, and provide more things in the kitchen - at least a cookie sheet or pizza pan,
2. we didn't receive the checkout instructions until two hours before checkout time and we had already left the property.
Great house, awesome property… loved it, but the compromised master bedroom patio door tried to ruin my vacation. It is usually windy in the Rio Valley, but there were two days of extremely high winds. The patio door is broken and allows wind to gush through the two panels creating a loud whistle. I have a video of the drapes blowing around with the door fully closed & locked. It’s kind of humorous now, but at the time it caused two sleepless nights. I would have absolutely given the house five stars without the patio door issue.

Unit was fine, cleanliness was fine but the ice maker did not work, front porch light did not work - bought a new one, 2 back patio lights were missing - bought new ones, no broom or dustpan available to clean up our messes (one was delivered), no countertop cleaning supplies (one was delivered), we are asked to run the dishwasher upon checking out but there were no dishwasher packets, lots of flies in the unit. In addition, it is traditional that owners put out a "Reference Booklet" for things such as emergency phone numbers, places to eat, what to do with the garbage, check out procedures, etc. There was none available at this unit. Suggest the owners put one together as a courtesy.

Pool and hot tub were NOT operational for 1 month due to SCHEDULED maintenance. This was not mentioned in add, nor we were not informed when booking the property for 3 months. Also not working last five days of our stay. We would book another place.Need heavy curtains on bedroom windows, place is noisy daily from 5 am to 11 pm, due to continuous heavy traffic. Also draft around door and windows. Beds shake during strong winds.Need patio chairs and at least small table. BBQ is rusted/non working. ice maker in fridge is not workingKitchen had plenty of pots, pans, plates, glasses, silver ware, bowls....... most fairly new. Furniture good, also fairly new. Nice view of Laguna Madre.Property manager, Celia, very helpful/responsive to our questions.Maintenance/gardener, Pablo, very GOOD.
