There is so much to enjoy in the neighborhood. Start your day on Magazine Street with coffee and pastries at PJ’s Coffee or District Donut and Coffee Bar. After breakfast, stroll Magazine’s shops and browse Joseph Boutique, Azby’s, Pied Nu for clothing, or Jean Therapy for denim. For luxury gifts and home goods, Hazelnut, owned by Bryan Batt of Mad Men fame, is a favorite stop. For lunch, Whole Foods in Arabella Station, a historic former streetcar carbarn, offers prepared foods and outdoor seating.

Enjoy a fantastic dinner at one of the restaurants in close walking distance. Saba features Middle Eastern cuisine and is owned by Alon Shaya, a James Beard Award-winning chef. Other nearby favorites include La Crèpe Nanou, a romantic neighborhood French bistro and crêperie, and Bistro Daisy, which features New American cuisine with French influences.

After dinner, you can end the night at St. Joe’s Bar where you can easily walk home.
