Men can step back in time Bad Habit Barbershop, which offers classic cuts, hot shaves, and beard trims in a stylish setting. If you’re in a literary mood, Octavia Books, one of New Orleans’ most beloved indie bookstores, is just around the corner.
For dinner, savor Middle Eastern flavors at Saba, by James Beard award-winning chef Alon Shaya, elegant Italian at Avo, or a romantic French evening at La Crèpe Nanou.
After dinner, cap off the night with cocktails at St. Joe’s Bar or Monkey Hill Bar, both walkable. If you’re in the mood for music, head out to Maple Street, Tipitina’s, or Frenchmen Street for live music and dancing. Then, in the morning, recharge with a superfood smoothie from Main Squeeze before setting out again.
