Luxury Mountaintop Views with Hot Tub - 1 min to town

Relax and rejuvenate in our recently renovated mountain home! Conveniently located just above town, enjoy stunning mountain and lake views only minutes from shopping, restaurants and attractions.

Chef's kitchen, comfortable beds with luxurious high tread count sheets, secluded hot tub, oversized rear deck with double level gazebo, propane fire pit and gas grill. Master suite with king-size bed and jacuzzi tub. Three new smart televisions. High-speed fiber optic internet. Game room. A slice of heaven!

Comfortable leather sofas surround the stacked stone fireplace with large picture windows providing breathtaking wrap around views of the mountains and Lake Chatuge. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything one needs to prepare a complete chef's meal. At night, sleep like a baby on comfortable mattresses with new high thread count cotton sheets.

We are continuously upgrading the space. We have added new flooring and paint throughout and installed granite countertops in the kitchen and master bedroom. We also added new stained tung and groove ceilings and accented the master bedroom and breakfast bar with tung and groove as well. In addition, we added stairs, a walkway and a lower level to the gazebo where there is excellent privacy for the new hot tub. Most recently we've added a new observation deck with arbor and swing, and upgraded furnishings. New apple trees and blueberry bushes will soon provide seasonal fruit for guests.

There is covered parking for one vehicle and room for three additional vehicles as well. You will appreciate the convenience of the Ingles Market at the bottom of the hill with a Starbucks, deli, bakery and excellent produce and meat departments, and the gentle drive to and from the property on well maintained roads. Everything you need for a memorable stay is within 5-10 minutes of the property.

We have provided detailed information and recommendations for shopping, dining and attractions available in the area in the property. We have also provided detailed information on hiking trails and waterfalls for the area in the property.

Note: We have exterior ring cameras pointed at the outside entrances for security purposes. There are no cameras inside the property. Please message me with any questions.

Awesome mountain retreat!

We enjoyed our week long stay at this beautifully appointed mountain home. It was clean, nicely decorated. and had a great porch with beautiful views. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room. We also liked that it was close to town and a drivable distance to hikes and small towns we visited. The hosts were very responsive and easy to deal with. Would highly recommend!!

Great getaway

Very nice vacation home in the mountains and near Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee GA. We enjoyed the back porch for coffee in the morning, and the sunset and view in the evening. The beds are comfortable, great living space and the kitchen is well equipped. The grocery store, a variety of shops and restaurants are close and an easy drive. The host was very nice and communication was easy.

The property is accurate to the posting. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our 3 day weekend. The location is close to town, but quiet. The owner was very accessible and within 5 minutes cleared up a wifi question we had regarding the password. We will stay here again.

Motorcycle getaway

From the moment we went through the door we felt comfortable. It was neat and clean. Well stocked if you wanted to stay in and cook. Hot tub was great after a long motorcycle ride. Close to the town and even closer to the supermarket. Host was very informative. Hope to stay here again.

Beautiful views, convenient location.

We stayed at this lovely home with friends for a relaxing time in October. It was perfect in every way. You're in the mountains, yet close to town and all the surrounding attractions. The home was clean, well stocked with all the extras, and cozy and inviting. Jeffrey was the perfect host, always getting back to us immediately when we had questions. Would recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away yet be close to everything.

Convenient and relaxing

We just spent five nights in this exceptional cabin in Hiawassee. We frequently visit the surrounding area but have never stayed anywhere so convenient to town. We enjoyed the ability to go back and forth whenever we wanted and still have beautiful views and privacy. Of special note… there is a family of doves in the hemlock tree that we really enjoyed listening to every sunset. Great place!!! Thank you, Jeff!

Girls getaway....

Thanks for our stay at your beautiful home , views of the mountains and lake and. close to town but quiet area ! Enjoyed the hot tub . Each of us have allergies and the blinds were so dusty even tho we took 2 big air purifiers .. it bothered all of us (note to cleaner) other than that we would rent this home again Thanks!

Better than expected!

My husband and I spent the week in Hiawassee with both sets of our parents for Labor Day, and it was a much needed, relaxing getaway! The view from the balcony is spectacular, and the house is much more spacious, bright, and cozy than the pictures convey. The property was clean, and there were even plenty of simple essentials that I typically need to bring myself on trips that were already there (olive oil, spices, a cooler). The driveway was large enough to fit all 4 of the cars we brought, and there was plenty of seating and counter space for everyone. We were even welcomed with a bottle of local wine! The location of the house is high up on a hill with amazing views of the lake, and although the road up to the house is steep and a little intimidating if you aren't used to driving in the mountains, it was well worth the hike! We definitely enjoyed our stay, and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for some quality family time, or even a romantic getaway!

Could have been better

There were positives and negatives to our stay. First the positives. The location of this rental is supreme. Very close to groceries and centrally located for other destinations. Also, the master bed was very comfortable. There is also a propane fire pit that was a nice touch, especially on cold evenings. Lastly, the view of the lake is amazing! Now the negatives. The biggest negative is that there were five outdoor cameras on property that were NOT disclosed in the description for the rental. This is a violation of VRBO policies to NOT disclose this in the property description. Four of the cameras were in locations that made sense. But the fifth, was aimed at the stacked gazebo area where the fire pit and hot tub were. Not only did it make us feel like our privacy was being violated but the light that was on the camera would come on repeatedly really destroying the nice feeling sitting out by the fire pit in the evening. Another negative was the walk in shower. It was so small, I could not adequately wash myself. I ended up taking my showers in the tub-shower combination in the upstairs bathroom so I could properly wash. I think removing the camera pointing at the gazebo and renovating the master bathroom would make this rental much better.
