## Emplacement
Located between Saint-Tropez and Le Lavandou, Cavalaire-sur-Mer is a charming seaside resort on the Mediterranean coast. This commune of the Var, surrounded by Cap Cavalaire and Cap Lardier, is built on an old Greek colony and owes its fame to its long sandy beach, as well as its various coves. The city also experienced its heyday during the Allied landing in Provence in 1944, as it was the scene of major American military operations.

Today mainly focused on tourism, the city has a nautical station labeled with many activities for all ages. It also benefits from the attraction of nearby tourist cities such as Ramatuelle.

The gastronomy of Cavalaire-sur-Mer and its region also seduces passing tourists, with wines from the Var vineyards, honey, tapenade, or the famous Tropézienne pie that comes from the city next door.
