This cabin has a nice kitchen, bathroom and sitting area. It's about 15 minutes into town for groceries and such. Its in a quiet neighborhood. The garage is really large and nice for loading and unloading if you have alot of supplies.
Perfect place to stsy, fully furnished, perfect location also. We stay here every year for ice fishing and it works great for us. Will be back next year again.
Great area and the house has everything you need for a week of hunting. The owners live near by and I have no doubt if you needed anything at all they would help you in any way possible
This place is very clean and fully furnished. I will be back every year from here on out. Andrew is easy to deal with and get ahold of. Would recommend this place 5 stars a 10 out of 10.
We stayed at the property while we were fishing Devils Lake for a week. The home was clean and had everything we needed for the week. The garage was a real bonus for anyone with a boat or equipment that you want to keep inside. We would stay there again if we come back to the area.
Great time at the trailer. Ample space for our group and dogs. Was way better than a hotel. Andrew checked in with us to make sure we were finding birds and made sure we had everything. Would recommend!
Neighborhood was quiet. Location is within short driving distance to gas, restaurants, and grocery store. No issues with accommodations, garage comes in very useful.
They read my mind and had everything I needed and over-met my expectations. Good people. I have two more trips to this location happening over the next year. Thank you for making your place available.
This cabin/trailer is all newly remodeled and very clean. All the amenities worked great with some added ones we were not even aware of, such as the toaster oven and the deep freezer in the garage for fish or hunting meat. The communication with Andrew was wonderful and when we had a blown fuse it was fixed in less then 30 minutes from the time of notification. My husband and son caught so many perch and Pike that they actually had to stop because they were sore from catching so many down at the Warsaw boat launch right off the pier with just worms and minnows as bait. Ed's tackle shop in New Rockford is very knowledgeable. We had a great stay. Thank you Andrew!!!
Great little place to stay and come back to after a long day of ice fishing! Everything a person needs with the comforts of home. Perfect for Fisherman and Hunters.
Now the HOST Andrew and Amy, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PEOPLE!
Amy greeted us at the door on our arrival! Very friendly young lady!
Host going above and beyond is how to best describe it. While ice fishing we got stuck on Devils Lake. We dug for 1hour with no prevail. As last resort I contacted Andrew and Amy for possible recommendations. They immediately contacted family in the area and the family members arrived and was able to pull us out after about 30 minutes. Above and beyond expectations, they did not have to do that as a host for us. Definitely not in the host description as what they are to do!
It continues we were hit with a blizzard and 11+ inches of snow burying us at the VRBO Property, Andrew personally plowed our truck and trailer out of drifts and cleared a road so we could get back to attempt to fish. Above and beyond!!!
Andrew and Amy absolutely AWESOME! Highly recommend staying at Andrew and Amy's VRBO Property in Sheyenne North Dakota!
great place to stay. perfect for a group of duck hunters and their dogs. everything worked out so well and the set up to handle cleaning ducks was perfect. had all we needed after a long day of hunting.
My fishing buddy and I really enjoyed our stay at Northern Hideaway. Very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The use of the garage in which we could lock our boat was great, although the neighborhood looks to be quite safe and is very quiet and peaceful. Andrew & Amy were wonderful hosts. They answered all our questions and accommodated our late arrival and early departure. We would definitely book again in the future if we come back.
The owners are very nice and checked in with us every now and then. The place felt very cozy and the location was quiet with very little interruption. Great experience overall.

About the host
Hosted by Andrew Bachmeier
My wife and I have lived in Sheyenne, ND for about 10 years. I was born and raised in New Rockford, ND and my wife is originally from Kindred, ND. We have been married for 7 years and have two dogs, Ellie and Jaycee. I currently am a Maintainer Operator for the county and raise cattle with my dad and my wife is a Dental Assistant. We are very passionate about the outdoors and try to get out and enjoy them every chance we get. We particularly enjoy hunting, fishing and ranger riding.
Why they chose this property
My wife and I chose to buy this property because it is conveniently close to our home. We weren't exactly sure what to do with it when we bought it but hunting lodge just seemed like the right fit.
