About this property

A slice of heaven in the heart of Kuala Lumpur

What makes our house so unique is its setting. Although it's located in the middle of the urbanized areas of Kuala Lumpur, it is nestled in a rainforest, and surrounded by nature. You can hardly believe that you are in one of the most modern cities in the world, when you see trees and jungle everywhere, when you listen to the frogs and cicadas at night or get a glimpse of monkeys jumping in the trees. A house with so much serenity and nature like this is almost impossible to be found anywhere else in Kuala Lumpur. Our house is spacious with a fusion of modern and Indonesian/Balinese interior design. From the master bedroom's balcony, you will have an incredible view of the rainforest and the village (called Kampong in Malay). Our garden is also huge so you can enjoy walking around or playing games if you have kids.

Why they chose this property

It's so unique, and something you will not find in the KL area. If you want to experience something like this, you would need to drive many hours outside of KL. It's not just a very luxurious stay in an incredibly beautiful house, but it's also an amazing cultural experience where you can experience a traditional Malay village.

What makes this property unique

We built our house in 1999, and made upgrades to it in 2010 to expand it. Our house is about 950 square meters, and the entire land is one hectare. Although it is in the middle of a rainforest, it's only a 5-minute drive to big malls and commercial areas (including a huge array of restaurants, IKEA, cinemas, etc.), as well as the metro station. Anywhere from 15 - 30 minutes, and you can reach many other important areas of Kuala Lumpur, including the city center such as KLCC or Bukit Bintang (about 25 -30 minutes away).
