Wonderful stay in a wonderful home. The hosts were phenomenal and very responsive. The only thing to be aware of is that you will be required to pay a “spa” fee, so be sure to save up some extra Euros. We were caught unaware, but the Host was very helpful to help us get it done.

This apartment is amazing! You feel like you can get away from the rat race here.

The owners catered to our every need. They met us at the apartment and even had special treats for our dog! The apartment is right on the river and is about a 3 mile walk along the river to the city of Mainz and the Guttenberg Museum. I would highly recommend staying here and plan on another visit soon.

We enjoyed our stay in Mainz! The location was great because it was so easy to walk along the river on that great path. There WAS a bakery around the corner but it happened to be closed on the days we were there. Heiko was there to greet us and walk us through things, which was awesome, and we appreciated how communicative he and his wife were. For example, I couldn’t figure out why the dryer kept turning off without getting the clothes dry so I messaged and Tamara right away said the water tank needed to be dumped (I didn’t even know that was a thing!). They have great advice for restaurants and other things, which was nice. The beds were all very comfy and the neighborhood quiet, so we rested well. We used the kitchen and everything was great (although we did miss not having a microwave for leftovers). The bathroom was spacious and worked well. Everything was VERY clean, and the wifi worked great. The only slightly unfortunately thing about the stay was that parking was not guaranteed. We were there for a holiday and parking for this VRBO was on the street or by the river. Of course, with the holiday, it was extra crowded, so while Heiko was able to get us parking the first night, we had to circle around a few times to park a couple minutes away the next night. Other than that, we loved our stay there and would stay again!

Eine schöne Woche im Ferienhaus zur Mainpforte

Das Ferienhaus ist geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage direkt am Mainufer ist toll Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr herzlich begrüßt und haben eine schöne Woche in Mainz und Umgebung verbracht. Das Auto benötigt man kaum, da die Anbindung in die nahe gelegenen Städte mit Bus und Bahn hervorragend ist. Die Bushaltestelle befindet sich fast direkt vor der Tür.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet; sie liegt perfekt für einen Spaziergang am Main oder einen gemütlichen Abend am nahe gelegenen Weinprobierstand. Ein Bäcker ist in 2 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen; nach Mainz sind es gute 10 Minuten mit dem PKW. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Schöne Auszeit am Main

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Das Haus hat Charme, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles bis in kleinste Detail geplant. Hier fehlt nichts. Herrliche Ruhe kommt dazu.

Great experience

What a wonderful place to stay. Great location, convenient to both Wiesbaden and Mainz. The apartment is very well furnished and well stocked. Tamara and Heiko are wonderful host, very attentive without being intrusive. The location of the property, only 1/2 block from the Main River, puts you close to numerous walking paths and biking trails. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book this property for our subsequent visits to Germany!

Hervorragend, einfach hervorragend!

Ich war hier geschäftlich für zwei Nächte, das kleine Haus in Nähe des Ufers ist komplett renoviert und supergemütlich. Überall finden sich kleine nette Details. Aufmerksamkeiten durch die Gastgeber, wie z.B. ein Obstkorb, machen es richtig schön anzukommen, es ist wirklich alles da, sogar Topflappen! Komme gerne wieder, herzlichen Dank!

Echt schnuckelige Fewo zum Erkunden von Mainz/Wiesbaden

Toll Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage mit allem was man braucht- samt Waschmaschine/ Trockner. Auf dem kleinen, gemütlicher Balkon mit 4 Sitzmöglichkeiten zum Innenhof kann man Abends entspannt sein Wein trinken. Einzig ist die enge und niedrige Treppe zur I.OG (zum Schlafzimmer/ Küche/ Balkon) etwas beschwerlich für größere und körperlich nicht so bewegliche Menschen. Trotzdem tolle Fewo und toller Aufenthalt! Total schöner "Empfang" mit "Empfangskörbchen" mit Obst/ Chips/ frischen Blumen, sodass man sich direkt wohl und willkommen fühlt!

Kleine, feine Ferienwohnung

Tolle Ferienwohnung, liebevoll ausgestattet mit Allem, was man braucht. Sehr sauber, Obst, Kaffee und Wasser stand bei der Ankunft bereit. Aufgrund der engen Treppe ins OG für kleine Kinder und sehr große Erwachsene nur bedingt geeignet. Tolle Lage als Ausgangspunkt für Fahrradtouren

Wie zuhause!

Das Häuschen war unglaublich gut ausgestattet! Sowohl die Küche mit diversen Küchenutensilien, als auch das Bad. Wir haben sogar frische Blumen, Obst und Frischen Kaffee vorgefunden. Unglaublich aufmerksame Gastgeber! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank!
