The home is lovely and very well appointed. Not too far from the beach or Broadway. The hosts communicate well and are quite easy to work with. An awesome weekend stay.

Ronda and I are in Galveston as often as work schedules allow. This weekend was 100% the most memorable thanks to Diane and her wonderful Little Cottage that is conveniently located to everything. This is by far the best experience we have had while visiting Galveston, we can't wait till our next chance to come and stay here.

Great Location and Just What We Needed

We booked this home because if it’s proximity to the Galveston convention center. My daughter was attending dance nationals at the center and it was a short five minute drive back-and-forth. It was just enough room for what we needed and gave us a Homie feel as opposed to staying in a hotel for seven days. We love the space, roominess, and updated appliances. The host was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely book this house again.

Beautiful and homely property

We really enjoyed our stay! The house has a lovely open plan kitchen, living and dining area which was so well equipped with everything we could need. A particular highlight was the master suite which was stunning and so spacious with the most beautiful bathroom! Diane was extremely responsive and helpful before check in and after check out. 36th Anniversary Trip

What a lovely home! It was so clean, inviting and so so comfortable!! We enjoyed this little cottage better than any we have ever stayed in! The owner was such a pleasure to deal with and she has thought of everything anyone might would need to make a guest feel welcome! I wish I could give this listing way more stars than 5! The house was spotless and well stocked. Quiet neighborhood. There is a Family Dollar and a liquor mart within easy walking distance, which was handy. Diane was a wonderful host, very accessible for anything we may have needed, however we had no issues with the home.

Perfectly located island home!

One of my favorite things about this spot was the ease of parking. The home has a private driveway and is off the main path of heavy traffic, but close enough to the limelight to walk! We loved the fact that it was well equipped with cooking items including not only the pots and pans, but a wide variety of spices as well. The beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless. Truly a comfortable home away from home.

Fantastic Find!!

My parents, husband and I stayed at Diane’s cottage while in Galveston for the historic homes tour weekend. First of all, Diane is a wonderful host! She communicated with us thoroughly regarding the check in/ out process and responded quickly to any messages from us. As for the cottage, it is outstanding! It exceeded our expectations. The property is super clean and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The decor and layout of the cottage is inviting and made it feel like home away from home. The location was centrally located and perfect for us. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet. Another great feature is the private driveway for multiple vehicles to park off the street. The backyard is a bonus too - VERY spacious and a great place to enjoy coffee/ wine/ conversation. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage and will definitely love to stay here again for our next Galveston adventure. Can’t say enough good things about the property or the host!!
