The house is so clean and comfortable, as well as the beds. We had everything we needed. Even got to see the deer in the hills behind the house two of the days. Love sitting out on the back deck, so peaceful!

Three friends and I stayed here for a quick getaway. It was a lovely home - super clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable. Absolutely amazing property. Easy check-in. Incredibly clean and organized. It really has everything you need. Kitchen was very well stocked and had all the supplies we needed. The game room was so much fun, both the adults and kids(12, 15, 16) loved it. The yard and patio were very nice and comfortable. It did take us a little while to figure out where the patio seat cushions were, but we figured it out. Overall a great property and would stay again if ever in the area again.

Great house

The house is beautiful, and it’s in a great spot. There are homes near by but you wouldn’t know it. Our only complaints are the furniture in the living room is not comfortable. We go on a girls trip every year and like to watch movies and hang out in the living room. Also, there is a huge bathtub, but not enough hot water to fill it, which was very disappointing.

We have 2 1/2 y.o twin boys and a 5 y.o My only regret avout this property is that we only booked one night. Next time it will be 2 nights for sure! the property offers plenty of space that you dont feel like your tripping over each other. The cleanliness was topnotch. We felt right at home at Junebug rentals. Its less then 5 minutes away from memorial park which was great for the kids. We didnt get a chance to use but the yard is spacious for the kids to run and there is a beautiful cement patio furnished. A must for our family is the washer and dryer. so grateful for that to be able to clean the kids clothes asap.

Once again this property does not disappoint! It is immaculate. It is extremely well stocked with everything a traveler could need. The beds were comfortable, the house was very nicely decorated, and it was a great experience. We loved seeing all the wildlife wander through in back of the house. We enjoyed different places downtown, and found the entire town to be very friendly and welcoming! Communication was extremely outstanding! Katie and Terry are excellent hosts. We chose this location because Durand is a place where life slows down in all the right ways. It has a peaceful, welcoming, small-town feel, but also a deep sense of history, natural beauty, and outdoor adventure. We wanted to create a space where guests could experience all of that — where nature meets comfort, and where people can truly rest, reconnect, and enjoy time together.

The property sits in a quiet neighborhood that feels tucked away, surrounded by trees and visiting wildlife, yet still close to everything that makes Durand special. We loved that guests can wake up to birds and deer, sip coffee with a wooded backdrop, and then walk or bike anywhere in town, the river, and the state trail within minutes. We are just over an hour from the Twin Cities, 25 minutes from Lake Pepin’s scenic bluffs and waterfront towns, 30 minutes from the vibrant arts and food scene in Eau Claire, and 20 minutes from Menomonie and UW-Stout. It makes the home perfect not only for quiet retreats, but also for day trips, family visits, weddings, college events, and exploring the area’s wineries, trails, and river communities.
