The home was very comfortable for a big group. The kitchen was well equipped and had a wonderful table that was great for meals and games. Hot tub was a plus and very clean.
Extremely easy check-in. Very spacious accommodations. The views are absolutely breathtaking. If vacationing in the winter, you will definitely need 4 wheel drive. Megan was a pleasure to work with, she responds to messages in a very timely manner.

Thanks for staying with us Barbara, and for the kind words! We would love to host you any time.
This place was great for a big group. Plenty of cooking supplies and a beautiful location. This house is a bit of a haul up the road so be prepared for that and definitely have 4wd/awd. Would stay here again! Thanks Megan!

Thanks so much for staying with us! We would love to host you again any time!
We loved our stay in Angel Fire. While the house was a bit of a trek from the base, it was totally worth it for the VIEWS! We also saw a lot of wild life (deer and bears!) which was pretty cool. It was conveniently located to some of the trailheads for mountain biking. Definitely recommend 4-wheel drive as advised in the listing. The house had literally everything we needed for our stay.
Our stay in Angel Fire was wonderful! We met a group of friends (10 of us plus dogs) and it was the perfect house and location. The views are amazing, the house had everything we needed, and Megan was super responsive and helpful. We hiked and biked right from the house, and enjoyed amazing meals together at the massive dining table. We can’t wait to visit again!

Thanks so much for visiting! We loved hosting you and hope you come back soon.
First off the host was extremely responsive and helpful. Let us check in a good bit early. Beds were good. A few downsides are that the water pressure was extremely low. Made it hard to take showers. The kitchen has a ton of utensils but nothing was really high quality. Coffee makers were not good at all, except for the Keurig.

Hi Jason, thanks for the review.
I'm sorry to hear about your issue with the water pressure. There is a pump that needed to be flipped on. I wish i had known about this during your stay. I hipe to make it up to you in the future!
We enjoyed our stay at Megan and Tyler's mountain home, the views were amazing. It had everything we needed for our three generations, including a Christmas tree for my grandchildren, which was very important as we were there for Christmas. Megan was very responsive to any needs or questions we had. There was heavy snowfall during our stay, so chains were needed to get up the mountain and to the house. Of course, the snowfall made the skiing perfect for our beginners and others. I highly recommend it to large families. There was also a hot tub for our ski group to enjoy and needed for sore muscles.

Julie,
Thanks so much for being such a great guest! We loved hearing about how y'all enjoyed the house and the memories made. We hope to see you again in the future!
We had 11 total, 4 adults 4 teens and 3 children stay. It had enough beds for everyone to get a bed of their own if they wanted! It snowed the day we arrived and we did not have 4 wheel drive. Luckily I did purchase and bring snow chains. We were still worried about making it up the steep drive way, so the owner dispatched the snow plow for us and had it plowed right before we got there! The heaters in each room were nice, everyone could set their own temperature, and the wood stove worked wonders. There was tons of firewood available. We decided to drive to the end of the cul-de-sac for skiing, it was not feasible with little kids and a new house being built to ski-in and out. Overall, a fantastic place to ski Angel Fire.
Megan was an awesome host! There was a bad snowstorm before check-in and she was quick to get a plow to clear out the driveway and parking area.
The ski in/ski out was tough with the new snow but Megan is quick to get someone to clear the lane and pack the snow.
4wd is a must! There were several front wheel drive vehicles on the side of the road with snow chains.
The house was clean and had plenty of stuff to keep the kids and adults busy. Board games and smart TV with Roku and wifi. Adults really enjoyed the hot tub with a view.
You are on top of the mountain so be prepared!
The house itself was great, overall had a good stay and making a lot of memories. BUT I rented this place because of it being a ski in ski out, but it took our group over an hour to walk (in ski boots & carrying our skis) through knee high snow to the slopes. It definitely was not a ski in ski out, we ended up driving everyday. A few mishaps were the toilet overflowing, no useable coffee pot, no electric in the garage, and the garage frig not being cold enough to put anything inside.

Hi Terra, I wish you would have told me these things before the last day of your 5 day trip! We had a plumber go out the morning you left and fix the toilet. The garage has a light switch that needs to be turned on to supply electricity, which I would have been happy to share with you. The coffee pot would have been an easy fix if I was aware of the issue :). I have personally skied out from the house so I'm not sure which trail you were carrying your skis on. I am very sorry you had this experience and wish you had contacted me when issues arose. If a toilet overflows on a Friday and you don't tell me until Sunday afternoon I'm not sure how else I could have handled the situation.
Our family had a wonderful time this week in Angel Fire. The property was very cozy and the view cannot be beat. One thing we didn't fully appreciate was the elevation. It's very high, which affords the beautiful views. Just be prepared and realize that you may have more difficulty with the elevation than you do even when out skiing. Trying to unpack, carry things up the stairs, etc. at this elevation can be exhausting. The home could use some TLC, including a bigger or newer water heater (we ran out of hot water a few times and we only had 4 people in our party), and the kitchen could use some new pots and pans. These minor inconveniences did not overshadow our lovely stay. It is not easy to find a dog-friendly property. We made memories here that we will cherish forever. The host was very responsive, including with regard to a few days of very heavy snow and when the hot-tub needed cleaning.
My husband and I needed a few days break from the Texas heat and somewhere quiet we could still work from and was pet friendly. This was the PERFECT place for all of that and more.
The views were absolutely amazing. It is a climb for sure to get there, so don't book if you don't have the vehicle that can take it. Definitely need 4 wheel drive if it's snowed or rained a lot.
We spotted numerous deer in the open field next to the house, plus a couple of adult turkkeys with several babies.
The main living space plus 2 bedrooms are on the second floor so be prepared to haul lots of stuff up the stairs.
The only thing I would change would be heavier curtains in the bedrooms. It's rough when that sun starts lighting up the room around 5:30 am...lol.
The hot tub didn't have a lot of pressure but the chemical guy came while we were there and told us what he thought it was. We passed that along to Megan who was always very quick to respond and keep us updated before we arrived.
We will definitely be back and next time we'll bring our kids and grandkids since there is so much room in this house.
This was our first time renting anything other than a hotel room or a car and we had a wonderful experience. Megan was so quick to respond to any questions we had. The house itself was very comfortable for our group of 16. Everything was clean and tidy and each family had their own room. The rooms were all big enough to set up a pack and play for the smaller children. As this was our first time renting a cabin we weren't sure of what to bring and we definitely over packed. Megan has provided everything you could possibly need to have a wonderful weekend with your family. She has a cabinet full of family games that helped keep us entertained when it was raining. We all fell in love with her giant kitchen table! My parents were so happy to be able to enjoy all their meals with their children and grandchildren around the beautiful table. We all knew the hot tub was available when we rented the house but none of us really planned on using it. Once we took the top off of it someone was always in it! We all loved it so much that now we are planning on installing one at my parents house! The only thing we would recommend would be a propane fire pit. Here in NM there is often fire restrictions in place so normal campfires are not allowed, however propane fire pits are allowed because they do not throw off embers. We think that would have been a great addition to the top deck so we could still make smores outside. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to coming back.

Thanks so much for staying with us Stephanie! We loved hosting you and look forward to hopefully seeing you again in the future.
The views from this cabin were absolutely gorgeous! I could have sat on the deck all day just looking at the mountains & the valley below. As great as the views were during the day, nothing could beat the view of the stars each night while sitting in the hot tub!! The inside of the cabin is just as described. Would be a great place for a huge group. The owner was very easy to communicate with & was extremely accommodating.
