This cabin was really pretty and roomy. It was in a really private setting, which was beautiful. The address that was provided worked well with GPS and access to the cabin was very easy. The cabin was pet friendly, which was nice because we were traveling with our dog. Each morning when we would let her out, the deer would scramble (which we never saw before letting her out, even though we would check). Communication with the owner prior to our arrival was slow, but he was readily available once we got there. The cabin is a short country drive from Whitefish and Columbia Falls and maybe 30 minutes or less to Glacier. I would definitely recommend this property!
AWFUL EXPERIENCE!! Sad because this is property has potential. Upon arrival we were told to stay in a cabin that was not the cabin we rented. When we asked they assured us we were in the right place they just had the wrong photos listed. Next day they asked us to move bc they needed our cabin bc it was pet friendly. Moved to the correct cabin. No air conditioning although was advertised with air. Dog hair everywhere so the excuse of needing us to move so they could have a pet friendly cabin was a lie. Mouse crap everywhere and saw mice. See photos! Husband had to dispose of mice daily. Absolutely disgusting! Had to wash/clorox everything. Had to keep all food in the fridge or microwave to keep the mice out. Still can’t get a response from the owner.

We used your review. Hire new cleaning ladies and manager. I'm sure if you decide to come back things would be a lot better. My apologies. Thank you sincerely,

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
The location and privacy were great, and the house itself had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, communication could have been better. A couple of days before our trip I reached out for check-in instructions but didn’t get a reply. I tried again a couple of hours before arrival and still didn’t hear back. When we showed up, they were still cleaning, and we never received actual check-in instructions. There were a few things that could use attention. The fridge never got cold enough, so unfortunately we had to throw out some of the food we bought. Only some of the stovetop burners worked and if they did work they took forever to heat up a pan. There also weren’t quite enough towels, and the kitchen could be stocked and organized a bit better. With some updates to the appliances and clearer communication, this property could be a fantastic place to stay.

The cabin is beautiful and secluded on an amazing piece of property, with no Mountain View’s. There is no air conditioning even though the listing for the property said it was air conditioned. Perfect little cabin in spring or fall but we stayed in late June and it got hot inside in the afternoons with no ac or fans to cool the cabin down. With all of that being said, I’d book it again and buy a fan. Also, the water has a strong odor because it’s well water. The cabin was so pretty, all of the things that were discomforting or inconvenient were overlooked.
