Intracoastal Views: Townhouse with Views of Intracoastal Waterway
3 Bedrooms | 3 Full Bathrooms 2 Kings | 1 Double | 1 Twin-over-twin Bunk Bed
Townhouse right on the Intracoastal Waterway, and fully updated (built in 2021). This townhouse provides 180 degree views of the Intracoastal from the living room to the kitchen and in the master bedroom. If you want to stare at the water, but don’t want to leave home (or if the weather doesn’t permit you to go to the beach) you can just gaze at the Intracoastal Waterway from the covered deck, the living room couch or the master bedroom. The living room has five oversized windows and a sliding glass door that not only allow you to fully view the Intracoastal, but provide tons of sunlight making you feel as if you’re outside. Watch boats go by, a variety of birds, sky divers sky dive from across the waterway and the occasional deer, turtle and/or bunny go by. The townhouse is an end-unit and feels very private. It also has dual air conditioners (one for the first floor and one for the second), a tankless water heater (so nobody has to wait to take a shower), three full bathrooms (two bathtub/showers, one stand-up shower), TVs with cable in every bedroom and in the living room, washer, dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal and an outdoor shower. The beach is less than a mile away. There is paid parking at the beach. Drive time to the beach only one or two minutes. Or, if you’d like, you can take a 10–15-minute stroll to the beach or even bike to the beach. Beach access pathways total approximately 206 across Oak Island. Rent bikes and ride to the beach or explore this beautiful Island. The townhouse is also a mere 10-15 minute drive to downtown Southport. Please keep in mind, this is not a party house. Please respect our neighbors, many of whom live in the complex year-round. Please do not play loud music or be very loud late at night. Thank you and we hope you enjoy your stay!!

This property was the best! The view, oh my goodness, the view. It was comfortable, clean and newly updated. It was so quiet and serene. We would've stayed forever!
Nice place. Ashame we couldnt use the elevator. 32 steps to get to 2nd floor. Parking was an issue. Only had 2 vehicles but some one kept taking one of the spots. Needs a sign to indicate it belongs to the unit A1. Comfortable beds. Hot water on demand was nice. Great view of ICW.
My mom and I enjoyed a 3-night stay at this lovely townhouse and it would have been a 5 star review if it had a different management company. The Good: the townhouse is clean and modern; we loved watching the birds in the marsh and the boats go by out on the intracoastal; it's a good location- close to restaurants and the bridge to get over to Southport. The Bad: Oak Island Accommodations--after I booked through VRBO there was a secondary contract process with OIA (fine, I guess) but when we got into the unit there was no toilet paper in the master bathroom and only after going through our welcome bag did we find the 2 rolls of TP allotted to us for our stay, along with the pouch of dishwasher detergent and one roll of cheap paper towels. I understand bringing your own toiletries but there was NO soap available; I've stayed at dozens of rentals and never had to buy my own hand soap. Good luck expecting pantry staples, there wasn't even salt and pepper. The check out to-do list was also extra extra. Overall, this is a great townhouse but I will not book anything through Oak Island Accommodations again.
