Tired of the plain jane hotel rooms, with noisy hallways, blah looking sheets and never enough pillows? Come on in to the Woodford Guest House. Drive in to Mckenzie Towne - a front porch European looking community. Park in your own parking pad & follow the red brick path to your own entrance. No walls or hallways to share with anyone else. Up the stairs you will find a fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment. Lots of bright colored towels, red curtains, fun bedding, LOTS of pillows, a colorful queen sized sofa bed, 7 windows to soak in the sun, laundry machine and soap so you can go home with clean clothes, and coffee, tea and hot chocolate to get you started. And don't forget the warm plate of fresh baking to greet you. Enjoy a leisurely 15 minute walk to our popular High Street, with shopping, coffee shops & pubs. Hop in your car, and in 20-30 minutes you will find shopping, Calgary Tower, Stampede grounds, Elbow Falls, the Zoo & more. Or venture out to the mountains for the day. Cost is $120 Canadian per night. Pets not allowed anymore due to damage unfortunately

Lovely property, perfect for our needs, great location, lovely neighborhood. Host was welcoming. Everything you could need has been thought of. Lots of shopping and dining options nearby. Quiet and Convenient

Property is located in a quiet community and minutes away from shopping and dining. The property is equipped with everything guests could possibly need; from kitchen accessories, toiletries, laundry...and dog bowls. Mona, the owner, is super nice...making check in and out a breeze.

This place was awesome!! Mona is so incredibly nice and was soooo accommodating, the guest house was extremely clean and neat, and it was extremely well equipped! It had everything you might need! I was looking for a place in McKenzie Towne to be close to family, and I totally lucked out! If you’re looking for a great place to stay, somewhere that you’re private but at the same time close to everything you could need, contact Mona! Thanks for making our stay absolutely perfect!!

We stayed in this loft over the garage for 2 nights visiting family in town. Everything was meticulously clean. The decor is probably the cutest I’ve ever seen in a vacation rental. It was so cozy and comfortable. And if you like tiny plastic ducks, definitely make a game to see if you can find them all. Mona made us feel welcome and comfortable and provided delicious sweets on our arrival. Highly recommend.

What a Gem!

This lovely clean, quiet and cozy unit was very well stocked. The unit is in a beautiful residential neighbourhood. The shared yard was very private due to the landscape design. It was so nice to have a designated parking pad. The breakfast pastries were much appreciated! This unit was perfect for our three night stay while in the city visiting family. This will be our "go to" accommodation on future visits!

Christmas home away from home

Mona's apartment was absolutely perfect for our short Christmas stay. We couldn't have picked a better spot. Clean, cozy, extremely well appointed and the Christmas decor was just a huge bonus. This will be our go-to location for any future stays in YYC.

A clean, quiet, comfortable one-bedroom apartment above a detached garage. The unit is well equipped and in a great location. It is in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to all amenities. It has a designated parking spot off the road next to the door to the apartment. The only negative is the appliances are older and the oven door doesn't close properly.

Staying here is even better than being at home. Our hostess, Mona, is not only super friendly and welcoming, but she has made this carriage house apartment warm and homey. It is beautifully decorated and well supplied; if you have a request for anything unusual she will go out of her way to provide it in very short order. 😊 We were very comfortable with lots of bedding and blankets (plus air conditioning in both the bedroom and main living area). Super quiet neighborhood. This is our go-to place in Calgary, for sure!

We loved this cozy garage apartment in beautiful McKenzie Town.

The apartment was the perfect size for my husband and I for our 16 day stay. Loved the big soaker tub. Mona had a ceiling fan put in the kitchen and an air conditioner in the bedroom to keep it cool. It is very quiet and private. Mona is a lovely lady. The apartment was spotless and she kept us stocked with fresh cherries, garden peas and carrots and even made us a little gift pack for the road. She took care of any issues immediately and the apartment is stocked with the basic spices and condimements so we didn’t have to go out and buy them. The apartment is nice and light with lots of windows while still allowing privacy. We had our own parking space and a nice bench we could sit on outside. There is so much to do in McKenzie Town, lots of restaurants and all the amenities. Thank you Mona for everything. We definitely will stay here again.
