Holiday flat no. 4 on the 2nd floor of Casa La Montanella is a true holiday dream. Spacious, furnished to a high standard, flooded with light throughout the day, all-round views of the mountains. The house is located at approx. 1800 m above sea level in the tranquil and quiet holiday resort of Maloja. In the evening, a sea of stars opens up on the balcony, close enough to touch.

The holiday flat has a large master bedroom with separate dressing room and bathroom with shower, WC and bathtub. When you get up in the morning in the 2 x 2 metre master bed, you can already see the 3159 m high, mostly snow-covered Piz da la Margna in full size. You can also enjoy a marvellous view of the forests and surrounding mountains from the bathtub.

From the spacious living/dining room, you can enjoy a marvellous all-round view to the south and west thanks to generous window elements - mountains and greenery all around. From the dining table, the kitchen and the guest room, you have a direct view of the 2780 metre-high Piz Lunghin and the source of the Inn with its waterfall. The large dining table in the kitchen area seats up to 8 people. There is a free-standing cooking island with a large induction hob and a height-adjustable and illuminated extractor bonnet. The cooking island and the worktop in the kitchen are in black granite (Nero Assuloto): very hard-wearing and easy to clean. The kitchen is equipped with ZUG brand appliances: microwave, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine.

In the large living room with a maximum ceiling height of approx. 5m, you can spend your evenings in cosy armchairs and a nice sofa. And if the underfloor heating installed throughout the flat does not provide you with the desired warmth, simply light the fireplace. You will find plenty of firewood in the flat, make yourself cosy by the fire and enjoy your evenings stress-free. Free internet with Wi-Fi is of course available, and you can receive all national and international programmes on the 50" TV in the usual first-class HD quality.

The holiday flat also has a separate section with guest bedrooms and a guest WC with shower. The guest bedroom consists of 2 rooms, a kind of integrated maisonette. In the lower part of this separate room there is a pull-out sofa bed for 2 people, a separate wardrobe and cushions for additional seating. A staircase leads to the upper part. From the upper "studio" room with its approx. 25 square metres you have a view downstairs and into the main living room. This is a beautifully converted room directly under the gable with a further bed (1.80m x 1.80m), an extra children's bed, a sideboard with additional storage space and a further television.

In the basement of the house you can use a communal laundry room. Here you will find a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, iron/ironing board and enough space to hang your washing out to dry. There is also a ski cellar for storing all your skis, snowboards or sledges. There is a reserved parking space for you and plenty of parking directly in front of the house.

Giovanni Giacometti, the father of Alberto Giacometti, also worked here. Their spirit still inspires exhibitions, readings and concerts in the Belvedere tower or in the Chiesa Bianca. The small pass village on the border with the unspoilt Bergell is popular with hikers, art lovers and families. The Sentiero Segantini invites you to get to know the village of Maloja better. The pizza-baking course for children can be booked at the Hotel Schweizerhaus, there are adventures to be had at the "Capel - the smugglers' trail" adventure park, the "Kukuk" playground is a delight for every child and the Cavloccio lake at 1907 metres invites you to take a dip.
