Gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean await at Polynesian 503, a one-bedroom, beachfront condo that sits directly on the boardwalk in Ocean City. It's a spectacular scene that you can take in from the oceanfront living room and the shaded, private balcony just outside.

This condo was beautifully remodeled in 2017 with new stainless steel appliances, new furniture, and a new HVAC system. In 2020, a new 40-inch flatscreen TV and two new luxury mattresses for the full beds were added as well. Additional amenities include free WiFi and a second flatscreen TV in the bedroom.

The Polynesian is an oceanfront building located right on the boardwalk between 3rd and 4th Streets. In the surrounding blocks, you'll find all sorts of dining, shopping, and entertainment, from Ripley's Believe It or Not! to Trimper Rides of Ocean City.

Things to know
During the off-season (September 20 through March 31), this condo has basic cable only (four channels)
No smoking and no pets allowed
*This retreat has been upgraded with new memory foam mattresses, which have been added to the sofa/pull-out beds.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Cute little place in the midst of everything. Loved looking out from the balcony to people watch or just enjoy the waves. Comfortable beds and great shower. Had luggage carts to use that avoided multiple trips to unload/load. Elevator important as stay was on the 5th fl.

Small with few amenities

This unit is quite small and would not work well for a family. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work. There are no typical beach rental amenities like towels or chairs. The most disappointing thing was the lack of a screen door on the large sliding doors facing the ocean. We could not enjoy the breeze or sounds of the ocean. Great location and view.

Great location, needed a deep clean

Check in was easy and fast! Upon getting to the condo, at first, it presented well. Under the beds were never cleaned, kids toys behind the living room couch, patio was dirty and sandy (5th floor- sand doesn’t blow that high), batteries dead on TV remote (they replaced), cable in bedroom never worked, contacted Vacasa several times for resolution and just received runaround.

This unit was ok, the small space is fine for short trips but would be too cramped for more than two people for a longer stay. The wifi was bad so we were unable to connect the kids tablets or use the TV in the bedroom. The building is outdated and there is only one elevator to get down to the ground level. The balcony is big but is not private from the neighbors on either side.

Great location but

Overall was nice place but the shower was so weak had to take off the shower head until the plumber came to put a good one on the day before we left. Tub was clogged too until he came. Bedroom door handle fell off and the door squeaked and sticks when closed, woke up everyone when opened. Toilet seat is loose too.

I am giving it a 3 because confusing about linen, stub toes on bed frame many times, tub dirty and no counter space for toiletries. Not cleaned from last people. Trusting the people before you may not be cleaning dishs properly. No dishwasher. No screen doors on entry nor on balcony sliding door. Nobody was ever in the office and we tried contacting the person/host of unit several times with not a reply. You get 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 paper towels. No Kleenex. For paying 3k for the week was not a good experience . This was my birthday and I'm a brain aneurism survivor ?

Slight issues

I was not asked for ID upon check-in. Sleeps 4 but barely enough room for 1 persons luggage/clothing storage. Lock box with room key had been left open. No directions given for smart lock & was not easy to use. Not a fan of the Roku, cable would have been easier to navigate. Otherwise nice condo & location.
