Beautiful and cozy 2 bedroom cabin nestled in the Bluegrass and Appalachian mountain region at Yatesville Lake on the border of West Virginia and Kentucky. The cabin is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath, washer and dryer. Open living and dining area is anchored by cozy fireplace with beautiful live edge black walnut wood mantle. Reclining couch and love seat to enjoy watching 50 inch smart tv or spending time with family. Kitchen features all new hickory cabinets and new appliances. It also contains all the necessities you need to prepare your favorite breakfast, lunch or dinner. One full bathroom with shower/tub combo and plenty of towels, washcloths and hand towels to last your entire visit. Tissue paper also supplied. Downstairs bedroom sleeps 2 with log king size bed. Bedroom also has beautiful log dresser and armoire. Upstairs bedroom sleeps 6 with 2 log queen beds and beautiful log futon. Upstairs bedroom also features private covered porch over looking nature at its best. Each bedroom contains 32 inch smart tv. One full size air mattresses also available for use.
The cabin has a beautiful wrap around covered porch with a swing and plenty of chairs to relax and enjoy the abundance of nature and wildlife including a Bald Eagle above. Spacious yard with fire pit to enjoy doing your favorite activities including corn hole or just roast marshmallows and share stories. Even if the weather doesn’t cooperate there is a variety of board games to enjoy inside. Although in the mountains you still have the convenience of shopping, dining and other activities just minutes away. Walmart is less than 15 minutes away with several mini plazas nearby. Cabin is situated between two boat docks approximately one mile either way from main route and a walking trail to the lake. Lake marina with kayak and boat rentals, hiking trails including the Mary Ingles trail, campground, horseback riding, 18 hole golf course, tubing and boating are all within minutes of cabin. Many other parks and activities are located in the surrounding areas such as Hatfield and McCoy ATV trail system, Carter Caves, Grayson Lake, Paintsville Lake, Rush Off Roading, Jenny Wiley State Park, Loretta Lynn Home Place and The Hatfield and McCoy landmarks along with much more. Road to cabin is gravel but is county maintained so that even a small car is operational. Trailers or boats over 20 foot has an additional parking area within 40 yards of cabin. Whether you want adventure, a romantic getaway or just a place to relax this is the cabin for you.
