Welcome to Sandstone 70 Condominiums! This wonderful two bedroom/ two-bathroom property accommodates up to six guests with plenty of room to stretch out in! Located in a traditional cozy neighborhood of Vail, enjoy a relaxing and local experience. Far enough from the busy areas of the Vail but still within easy reach of restaurants, shops, and the lifts!

This home away from home has so much to offer. Upon entry you’ll find the cozy living room as well as the open kitchen / dining room, and both bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and set-up to make a hearty breakfast before embarking on the days’ adventures.  The dining room table can fit up to six people.

The living room is set with a brand-new queen sleeper sofa and two chairs as well as a flat screen TV and gas fireplace to keep you warm and toasty. The mountain themed decor gives this home a pleasant and welcoming feeling. Just off the living room is a lovely deck with BBQ and a creek bustling below, the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine and take in the scenery.

Both the master and the guest bedrooms offer queen beds, with inviting mattresses and hotel quality linens. The master has an en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo and the guest bathroom also has a shower/tub combo.

The complimentary in-town shuttle stop is located just outside the complex and runs every 15-20 minutes or take advantage of pedestrian bridge and walk into Lionshead in a matter of minutes. This delightful unit is the perfect winter and summer getaway, you will not be disappointed!

*This unit does not have air conditioning however, mountain nights are very cool. You will receive an invite to the guest portal at the time of booking with reservation confirmation. Access instructions are emailed seven days prior to arrival.

THE SKYRUN ADVANTAGE: All of our Vail Valley properties come stocked with a basic starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand/body soap, conditioning shampoo, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher detergent (this is a 3-4 night supply, guests may purchase additional products locally). Each home is equipped with hotel quality bed linens and towels. Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances.

Loved that it was close to the Lionshead. Everyone complained about the flat pillows and the noise from the highway. I did have to call to find the building because the number 9 was hidden behind a bush and the parking numbers made no sense. The condo was clean.

Great Spot, Convenient to Slopes

We had a great stay, easy walk to Eagle Bahn and convent to the busses. Comfortable rooms. The kitchen is a little dated, though we didn't cook much. The photos should show that the loft is accessed by a ladder, rather than stairs. That might put some folks off.

Good ski weekend

We appreciated the short walk to the bus stop for Vail Village. The buses ran on schedule and we were the first stop and able to get seats. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend. We used the very nice sound bar to play music in the living room where we could hear the highway sound. Luckily the bedrooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable. The loft that has the king bed is large, but the ladder to get to the loft is steep, we passed on the king bed and gave that room to our boys and took one of the queen bedrooms for ourselves.

We were booked for 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend.We checked out 2 days early because it was so hot inside and no AC so we had to leave. The VRBO listing does not say anything about no AC. We were unable to sleep because we were extremely hot.The carpet throughout the unit is terribly old and soiled. We never took our shoes off. The carpet appears to be 50 years and needs to be replaced. One bedroom furnishings are old and stained with a very old bathroom. Dirty walls and chipped paint on baseboards.We had to put a chair under the front door handle we were so scared to be 15 feet from the highway access road. It was so loud all night due to the location.Overall the place is outdated and needs to be renovated.I would never ever stay at this place again and would never recommend it to anyone.

All was nice. The only thing I would have enjoyed is being able to watch television. I was able to log into my Netflix account but we were not able to watch much more than that. Although we were there for the skiing, as a family we enjoy relaxing and watching tv at night.
