Welcome to the holiday home page of the Matuschek family in Spain in La Marina!

"Casa Salamandra" - detached house with private pool, air conditioning, electric heating and pellet stove

2 bedrooms, completely enclosed property, separate toilet, private pool 3x5m

The 65 m² detached holiday home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with adjoining private park, but still centrally located to the centre of La Marina. In the village centre you will find a doctor, shopping facilities, restaurants, bars, pizzeria, cocktail bar, wine tasting, tapas bar etc..

The house is ideal for families: a living room with satellite TV (German reception), two bedrooms, a kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, a shower room and a guest toilet. Outdoor terrace with barbecue, garden furniture, outdoor shower. The beach is about 3 km away, kilometres long and very wide, with tapas bar and beach bar. Behind it there are green dunes and pine forests. The beach is easy to reach by bicycle (rental available in the village). Car parking is available on the property.

The house has free internet access.

Only the electricity charges are billed separately by the house administration on site. 5 KWh per day are free - every further KWh will be charged. The electricity price is currently 30 cents per kWh. However, this may change due to the current situation. If the price will increase, then we will charge the electricity supplier's price per KWh valid during the rental period.

Long-term tenants (over one month) receive reduced prices during the winter season.

By the way: The house is a non-smoking house! Pets are unfortunately not allowed!

We booked a house with a pool. Upon arrival we where advised there was an issue with the pool by the 'local' person on site, not the hosts. This 'issue' was to last all week. In fact when we left it still wasn't resolved. We also found out that the 'issue' was known about before our arrival as the previous occupancy had complained. The pool had a severe leak. The communication with the 'local' person totally stopped. None. Nothing.We then spent 4 days emailing, receiving, making calls to VRBO complaining without any movement. Eventually the hosts offered us compensation in terms of 50% rent reduction. When in fact its not compensation. It's simply a reduction because of no pool.There was NO offer of compensation. Spain is currently in a European heatwave. Temperatures beyond the normal. We booked accommodation with a pool for this reason.We where on holiday for 7 days and spent five of them complaining. Never again would we return to this property. Nor would we ever use VRBO.Zero idea on customer care and experience. If you want specific feedback on this please contact me as I would gladly engage.

Dear guest, thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment caused by the unexpected pool defect before your arrival during the heatwave. To resolve the situation, we offered a relocation to an equivalent accommodation with a fully functional pool, which was unfortunately declined, leading us to issue a 50% refund instead. Please be assured that communication has been addressed internally, and after extensive excavation work, the leak is now repaired, and the pool is back in perfect condition. We take guest satisfaction very seriously and regret that we could not save your holiday experience this time. Best regards

Fantastic stay at Salamander...stayed with my 2 sons whilst visiting family in the area. Everything you could need and more! Kitchen had every possible untensils, plenty of towels and everywhere very clean.i would highly recommend this property to anyone...check in and checkout was smooth and accommodating.

Perfect placement for shops and bars, nearest supermarket was a 10 minute walk or a short drive away with various bars and restaurants in the same vicinity. The villa was perfect for my stay even more so with the private pool and parking. Will definitely be stopping there again.

Alles perfekt!Absolut ruhige Umgebung fast am Ende einer Sackgasse, dennoch sind ein Supermarkt (derzeit wg. Umbaus geschlossen) und andere Geschäfte fußläufig erreichbar, etliche Restaurants ebenso.Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt, wir waren begeistert.

Schönes Haus, super Urlaub

Wir waren happy mit dem Haus und hatten einen schönen Urlaub. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und hat in der Küche alles was man so braucht. Die Betten waren auch gut. Auch die Außenanlagen wusste zu überzeugen. Der Pool war größer als wie wir ihn uns anhand der Fotos vorgestellt haben. Check In und Check Out hat bestens geklappt. Die Verwalterin vor Ort kannten wir bereits von einem anderen Haus und einem anderen Vermieter. Super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Obwohl wir kurzfristig umgebucht wurden von der Fluggesellschaft und wir dadurch locker 3 Std. später erst am Haus sein konnten war auch das alles kein Problem. Also wirklich Top! Alles sauber bis auf ein Bettlaken mit einem Fleck drauf. Abends sobald die Sonne untergeht kommen die Mücken. Also immer Autan dabei haben. ;) Das einzige wo wir evtl verbesserungspotential sehen wäre evtl 1-2 weitere Klimaanlagen zu installieren. Und zwar in den Schlafzimmern. Die vorhandenen Ventilatoren bringen leider keine Abkühlung. Es waren dort praktisch durchgehend 27 Grad, auch nachts. Und gerade mit Kindern wäre da wäre es nicht schlecht wenn wenigstens eines der Schlafzimmer runtergekühlt werden könnte. Aber wir würden trotzdem das Haus empfehlen und auch wieder dort Urlaub machen. Denn es ist wirklich schön. Auch der Ort ist wirklich toll. 5 Minuten zum Strand. Diverse Supermärkte in direkter Umgebung und zusätzlich in den Nachbarorten in alle Richtungen weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Traumhafter Aufenthalt in der Nähe von Alicante

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male mit unseren Kindern in diesen Ferienhaus. Die ruhige Lage, der Pool zur Alleinnutzung sowie die Top-Ausstattung des Hauses verbunden mit einer sehr freundlichen Vorortbetreuung durch Frau Nowitzki wird dazu führen, dass wir wieder kommen werden. Ausflugsziele sind in der Region auch ausreichend vorhanden. Vielen Dank für den erneuten wunderschönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus. Bis bald :)

Toller Urlaub

Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt, es war für uns der vierte Aufenthalt im Casa Salamandra. Einige Verbesserungen haben uns besonders gefallen. Das etwas in die Jahre gekommende Sofa wurde gegen ein neues ausgetauscht, das sehr gut in das Haus passt und super bequem ist. Und der Pool wurde überholt, sehr gut. Ein großes Lob an den Poolservice dieses Jahr. Sehr gewissenhafte und gute Arbeit. Schade, das das Haus soooo viel belegt ist, sonst wären wir öfter da.

Heerlijk huisje

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Het huis Was heel netjes en schoon. Alles was aanwezig. De buurt is rustig. Zwembad schoon en een fijne tuin met meerdere plekken om de zitten. Wij zouden dit huis zeker aanraden en komen er graag nog eens terug!

Sehr schöner Urlaub an der Costa Blanca

Hübsches, kleines Haus mit einem schönen Pool. Es ist wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Wirklich top! Restaurants, Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Zu den wunderschönen Stränden 5 Minuten mit dem Auto. Definitiv empfehlenswert!
