Upon arrival, guests will check-in at the resort’s front desk using their resort confirmation # just as if they had booked directly through the resort. Perched on 26 lush acres with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the islands of Lana'i and Moloka'i, this resort provides the ultimate in pampering and relaxation. Enjoy an afternoon of relaxation beside any of the several lagoon style pools while your children are encouraged to open their minds to new worlds of culture, crafts, and fun at The Westin Discovery Center and pirate ship pool. Experience the luxurious 10,000 square-foot Spa Helani by Westin Heavenly Spa, dedicated to your sense of wellness. Obtain optimal fitness at one of the fully equipped Westin Workout facilities on property. Discover what's cooking at any one of the three restaurants on property or enjoy indulging gourmet options at either one of the fresh markets. This beachfront resort not only offers a multitude of ocean water sports such as SNUBA, snorkeling, kayaking, and surfing, but is also just minutes from the historic whaling town of Lahaina, where guests can enjoy world famous restaurants, art galleries, and cultural activities. All easily accessible via a complimentary shuttle between the three Starwood properties and into Lahaina throughout the day and evening. Additional on-site amenities include: five outdoor heated pools, four outdoor Jacuzzis, two lighted tennis courts, business centers, and outdoor gas grills for barbecuing.

** The state of Hawaii assesses an occupancy tax payable to the resort at checkout ranging between $10 and $35 per night based on the occupied villa type.

** While we look forward to welcoming you, please be aware that the Hawaii Electric Company has notified us of periodic power outages that may impact our resort from time to time. These outages are part of the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) strategy that is being implemented across the island to proactively shut off power to help prevent wildfires when certain conditions exist. The Hawaii Electric Company expects these precautions to remain in place on the Maui, Oahu, and Hawaii Islands for the foreseeable future. As noted, these outages could occur at any time and may last for up to one to three days.

** Beginning Aug. 9 through Nov. 24, 2025, The Westin Kā‘anapali Ocean Resort Villas North will undergo an interior villa soft goods renovation, an exterior renovation, and painting project. Work will occur daily during daytime hours, so please anticipate contractors and construction noise daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All amenities are expected to remain open.

** Beginning Apr. 4, 2026, through Aug. 26, 2026, the resort will undergo an interior villa soft goods renovation, an exterior renovation, and painting project. Excellent Place to Vacation with Family

We had a partial ocean view. The room was really comfortable and having the kitchen made it easy to come in for lunch and snacks from the beach and pool. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. There were plenty of friends to make for my four year old granddaughter. The food and drinks are pricy but delicious. She is still asking to go back 6 months later. We used the shuttle to get around and that was nice as well.

Beautiful resort

Set on the best beach in Maui, this resort had it all: beach, great pool, nice walking paths, restaurants, a small grocery store, great snorkeling, hiking and even golf courses nearby. The resort was full to capacity while we were there but there was still room on the beach and at the pool without it seeming crowded. The condos were clean, had nice furnishings and a had a well equipped kitchen (but no oven). You’ll need to bring in all your own food even seasonings but the bbq area always had room to grill. Would highly recommend this resort for couples, families with or without children or groups of traveling friends.

This gives a lot less common area and doesn't feel as homely if you are with one family. I'm not sure that was in the description, so please check if that is important to you. - The dishes weren't terribly clean when we arrived so had to wash all the dishes again in both units. Also, selection of dishes wasn't the greatest. - Gym area is quite small with limited selection given the size of the resort. - Limited dining options "on site"

Family Vacation

We had kids ranging from teens to littles and the resort was wonderful for everyone! The resort was clean and well maintained. Felt the Hawaiian experience with the nightly tiki torcher lighters, performances, and over all feel. Our rooms had everything to make our stay comfortable. The pools were super fun and the beach access was amazing!! We snorkeled right there several times and it was full of sea life! The waves were on the calmer side in that area too! All in all we would definitely do another trip there!

Best Hawaiian Vacation

Our reservation was for "Garden/Island View" but we actually had a beautiful partial view of the ocean! The resort was clean, not crowded (despite the parking garage being very full at night) and the employees were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the North pool and hot-tub daily and the easy beach access is a huge plus. We never had trouble finding pool lounge chairs any time we went. The snorkeling off the beach was amazing - we saw a sea turtle each time we went out. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed for our family of 5 including 2 teenagers and 1 almost teen. While we used the BBQs and cooked in the unit, we also highly recommend the Sunset Menu at Pulehu (restaurant at ground floor of north resort). No one was ready to leave paradise at the end of our stay. Vacation Candy will be the 1st place I look for our next trip here, it was a seamless, easy process.

Great family holiday!

The resort exceeded our expectations - it was fully booked but seemed calm and not too busy. The pools and pathways are wonderful and everyone had a great time. We enjoyed the bbq area and the oceanfront. It was quiet at night, with a lovely fireplace area and many hot tubs and pools to choose from. It felt personal and lovely. The grandchildren had so much fun, our adult children enjoyed walking and going to dessert in the evenings, we all enjoyed the beach walks. A perfect stay!

The Westin Ka’anapali Resort

We love this resort! Each property has a fabulous pool and you can go to any!! The beaches are great! This resort is worth a stay—you’ll return again after the stay! This was our 3rd year at the resort. The prior 2 years we stayed in the North. My personal preference is -I like the North property better. The living space, porches and kitchen is much larger. There is a regular oven I. The North property -not-this microwave that does all. The North is also much easier to get to your room and to the pool/lobby. The South property - you feel like you got dropped in the middle of a maze and best of luck getting where your going.

Nice place

Maui and Westin Kaanapali Ocean resort Villas North

We had a wonderful time on our first trip to Maui. Our stay wat the resort was a wonderful time that was enjoyed by all five members of our family. Our two bedroom suite was in perfect condition, we;; maintained and stocked with everything we could think of. The resort was splendid as were the beaches on the resort. We had been assigned a higher than expected room so we were thrilled when we realized that we had an Ocean View from our Garden room so that was a great plus. If I could think of anything that was less than perfect (but still wonderful) it was that there were pools that were separated by the different buildings but not that big of a deal because each of the pools offered something that our kids enjoyed. Our first night we enjoyed dinner at the resort's restaurant, food was excellent and was a good value. The resort offered many activities for the kids and family and one great plus was the shuttle that ran quite often to the local town and to other related resorts. VacationCandy made it easy to book...we will certainly be using them again!

You Won't Want to Leave This Resort

We had a great vacation stay at this resort. The Westin staff treated like gold. The location was hard to beat. After a great day of snorkeling and pool side relaxation our dream of having a Mai Tai on the beach while watching the sun set came true. If your trip to Hawaii includes more than one of the islands then plan your last week at the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas North. It's a great place to slow down, relax and enjoy being in paradise.

Winter getaway

Highly recommend The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North. Located at a beautiful location. The room we booked had everything we needed for our stay. Very comfortable and spacious. Amazing pools for young and old. We also had access to the pools in the adjacent resort. Steps from the beach and boardwalk. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We booked our stay through vacation candy and strongly recommend using them for future travel. Can't wait to book our next trip!
