Comfortable cottage in a quiet location

Ideal for hikers and nature lovers: the cottage "Casa El Anden" in La Laja above San Sebastian de La Gomera is located directly on the National Park. Several hiking trails start directly from the house. Your pet is also welcome here.

The large and comfortable holiday home "Casa El Anden" can accommodate up to four people and convinces with its idyllic and dreamlike quiet location.

The large veranda with barbecue, dining table and sun loungers leads into the living room. Here you can make yourself comfortable on two comfortable sofas - one of which is also a sofa bed. There is German satellite TV, smart TV, Wi-Fi and for cool days a beautiful wood stove in the living area, the comforting heat spread. The open kitchen is very well equipped, and even has a dishwasher for your comfort. Right next to it there is a large dining table with six chairs. Through an arch you reach another room, where a sofa bed for two people and in the guest toilet with the washing machine. The separate bedroom is furnished with a comfortable, wide double bed and a spacious closet. This bedroom has a bathroom with shower, toilet and electric heating.

The owners grow fruit, vegetables and aloe vera in La Laja. Petra and Mathias make their own soaps and aloe vera care products, all organic and natural. They are happy to guide you through their small "Garden of Eden" and explain the individual steps from the plant to the finished product. Petra also dyes magical silk scarves with natural colors and sells them on the island's markets.

If you like, the two invite you for a little walk through the village and tell you something about the old and new village structures, the work in the fields, the irrigation system, the old Gofiomühle, the brick kiln and the historic village roads.
By arrangement Petra or Mathias will pick you up from the ferry port.
