- 10 minutes by bike from the beach;
- 8 minutes by car from the Base Nature François Léotard.

It was originally a Roman town founded in 49 B.C. to oppose the city of Marseille, which then dominated the region. Fréjus is the site with the largest French concentration of ancient remains after Arles.
There is also the François Léotard nature base (outdoor sports complex with many events in the summer).
