My goal here was to provide a great location and create a space that heightens every one of your creative senses when you stay. In this I strived for "New York BoHo high rise on the water. " I have used local artists for a creative cozy retreat. There is 1 large screen tv in the main area and 1 tv in the bedroom and 1 tv in lower level. We sleep 4 comfortably with 2 bedrooms but can sleep 6 if needed with sofa bed. I would suggest only children after 4 adults. It is way too tight for 6 adults. The main floor bedroom is the master and it is on the upper level with en suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is on the lower level and shares space with the game area and slider to the deck. It has a room divider and the lower level can lock for privacy. Hot tub on the water, fire pit, grill, kayaks, paddle boatβ¦all you need for a great getaway. The hot tub is treated at every stay. The kitchen is fully supplied for all your cooking needs. Access to the water, 5 min from great restaurants and boutique shopping in Peoria Heights. Pet friendly for 1 small dog. Pets MUST be crated when at the house alone. It is fenced but no grass so they must be walked for relief. Not allowed on furniture. Only registered guests allowed on property. No parties. Quiet time 10pm to 8am. No tampering with security equipment . No smoking, vaping. (any kind). Parking for 2 cars only. One to the side in the slip and one directly in front. Your request to book must include a message with information, especially if you have no reviews. Full names and addresses.Where are you coming from? Who will be staying? Have you used VRBO before? Etc. if there is no message, I will not accept. I do not host events or parties. There are quiet hours and host age limit is 25.

Located in Peoria Heights, this holiday home is on the waterfront. Galena Marina and Driving Range are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Peoria Zoo and Peoria Riverfront Museum. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Peoria Civic Center or Carver Arena.
We most enjoyed sitting in the hot tub watching the barges float by. The local museum and planetarium provided an interesting way to spend an afternoon. The kitchen was ample size for the two of us. We enjoyed cooking during our stay. I would suggest a mixing bowl and a few basic spices would make a nice addition to the kitchen. Overall a great place to get away for an extended weekend with ample things to do in the area.

Iβm so glad you enjoyed! There actually are mixing bowls there in the lower cupboard. Going through Covid deterred us from leaving open food. Come back anytime!
What a great place for a cozy stay!! The views and the hot tub, the big bed and the provisions for our pooch. Everything was lovely for our chilly little holiday getaway.
Great place to relax after a long day of volleyball games. Kids loved recovering in the hot tub and adults loved the view of the river, the creative and artistic decor, and super comfy beds. This would be a great place to visit in the warmer months as well. We also enjoyed dinner at a nearby restaurant called Thyme Kitchen and Craft Beer.
This location is even better in person! We were looking for a relaxing stay while visiting my family and couldnt have chosen better. The entire house felt beautifully curiated and comfortable plus it was so much fun! We got to watch firework shows going across the entire river and enjoyed fishing and playing ping pong to pass the time. Cant wait to stay again!
We had a great time visiting Peoria. The house was in a great location. We enjoyed spending time at the house while enjoying the water equipment, ping pong table and hot tub. Kim reached out several times making sure everything was ok and that we had everything we needed.
Found this great little property that we were able to book, Had 4 adults and 2 teens, was a little tight but we made it work. Clean and enjoyable property no complaints will book again in the future. Host stayed in contact and was prompt with questions.
We planned to visit relatives in the QC. Since we got into Chicago late we wanted to stay at a place halfway, and we were lucky to find this rental. Super cozy house on the Illinois River had everything we needed. So enjoyed hearing the river sights and sounds from the hot tub! Next time weβll stay longer.
This is a great little house. The back deck overlooking the river is just what I needed at the end of the day. From the plants and flowers outside to the amazing decor inside, this is a great place to stay. If and when I'm back in the area I hope its available at that time because here is where I would stay
Our host exceeded our expectations at every opportunity. Pillows, snacks and eclectic decoration... everything was wonderful. We didn't bring our family pet, but there were special touches that would have made a pet's stay just as satisfying. The hot tub was clean and had a wonderful view of the river from a raised fully finished deck. We would have stayed longer, and would definitely try to reserve this property again if we come back through Peoria. Thank you!
This was such a well planned, placed and designed house. It is right along the river where you can watch bald eagles land, or watch the barge go by in the winter and crackle all the ice as it pushes to shore. The hot tub on the upper deck gives you such a great view and if you wake up early enough sunrise is a beautiful scene! The hosts have all the right comforts in place for a really amazing stay.
Stayed overnight after visiting the frozen waterfalls at Starved Rock. Watching the sunrise over the frozen lake from the hot tub was the highlight of the stay. We enjoyed the eclectic decor and playing ping pong with the kids. We are planning to come back in warmer weather to try out the kayaks on the lake.
We had a wonderful few days of rest and relaxation! The only complaint was there was no curtains in bedroom.

Bedroom has a tiny little recessed window high in the air to the side. Canβt see how curtains would serve any purpose at all except ruin the ambiance of the room.
Our family was in town for Ledgestone disc golf tournament and the house was a great place for locations of disc park's and with the hot tub to relax, also the beds were so comfortable π and the neighbors were very friendly π. I will be booking for next year π π Kim was very reachable with any need which were none!

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Location
Very small and located next to railroad tracks
The property was very clean and well kept. Was just small and somewhat crowded. Itβs very close to road tracks and trains came through at 4:30 in the morning.

Brian. I advise the house is small. If you read the listing and book you book knowing it is small. It sleeps 4. That is what is on the listing.
