About this property
Great for BSU Parents, Micron Employees, Two Families, Multi-Generational Groups
IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR GROUP SMOKES ANYTHING, DO NOT RENT THIS HOME. YOU WILL BE FINED $500 FOR SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. Welcome to Boise! Our home is perfect for BSU parents, Micron employees, local grandparents, families, and multi-generational groups! If you love the outdoors, you're just a 1/2 mile from the river. This is our second home and we are thrilled to be able to share it with you. Our configuration is a little different so please pay attention to the descriptions below:
Main Floor - A beautiful and comfortable great room with a sofa, loveseat, 55” television, well-equipped kitchen with a large island, dining for six, and arguably one of the BEST VIEWS in SE BOISE. Enjoy views of Shaw Mountain/Lucky Peak and the surrounding foothills from the great room and outdoor covered deck. It’s a great place to watch the sunrise as you enjoy your morning coffee. If you’re lucky you can catch a glimpse of deer, coyotes, or even a bobcat frolicking in the field behind us. There is also a half bath and combination bedroom/office/playroom on this floor. THE PRIMARY MASTER BEDROOM REMAINS LOCKED and is unavailable to guests.
Second Story - Walk upstairs to another living area in the spacious loft located between two good size bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a QUEEN bed and view of the mountains from Table Rock to Lucky Peak and city lights below. Bedroom 2 has a QUEEN bed and is probably the quietest room in the house. The second floor bathroom has two sinks and a separate shower/tub combo and toilet room, so that the space is easily shared.
Walk Out Basement - The basement includes a large, light and bright bonus room complete with a large sectional, 65” television, and ping pong table. A large bedroom with a KING size bed and an adjoining full bath completes the space. Walk out on the patio to enjoy the same views you have from the upstairs deck.
Basically, our unique floor plan allows for both privacy (with bedrooms on all three floors) and togetherness (meet on the middle floor to visit, dine, and enjoy our fabulous views or gather in the basement for a game of ping pong).
Ready to explore? We are just a quarter mile from Barber Park where you can fish, float a tube down the river, play on the playground, or just enjoy the scenery. A bike trail literally steps from our backyard takes you down to Boise’s Greenbelt bike trail, which runs 26 miles along the Boise river. For more water fun, head out to Lucky Peak Reservoir, just five miles down the road. We are close to downtown, BSU, the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Simplot Sports Park, and Harris Ranch. Got kids? A small neighborhood park is only 100 yards down our street. Walk a little over a half mile and you will reach the brand new Bowler Park with a splash pad, play structure, and outdoor gym equipment. Great restaurants are available in Harris Ranch just a mile away and Bown Crossing, two miles away. We have three grocery stores within a five minute drive, including Fred Meyer, which is like a Kohls, Target, and grocery store all in one. Two freeway entrances within five miles take you to the I84. The airport is less than a 10 minute trip.
So…what’s not to love?
