Perfect Place, Perfect Price

I read all the other reviews before booking and they sounded like people looking for problems. The price was great, the condo was clean. The smoke detector started beeping and they quickly brought me a battery to replace it. No complaints at all and it cost me less than another identical unit on the property. Would easily stay here again.

Convenient location, nice condo

As a regular Vacasa customer, this stay was OK. A few issues: - Light in shower in main bathroom didn’t work- Cable TV in master bedroom doesn’t work- upstairs guests/residents were noisy late. Sounded like a kid running and jumping. Not a Vacasa issue but it impacted my stay negatively- Fatigued tempur-pedic style mattress in Master. Vacasa/VRBO should always include this information in listings. For people who don’t regularly sleep on this style mattress, this can be quite uncomfortable. Further, this mattress needs replacing regardless.

No hot water showe 2nd bedroom (recurrent issue)

We contacted Vacassa several times by phonex textos, e-mails. Always very polite assuring us that hey will send someone but no action has ever been taken. We had to share the shower in our bedroom with the others because the shower in their room is not working (no hot water). It appeared to be issue that was reported backin September 2022. We also requested four pool passed but there was only 3 passes on our arrival and we were never sbke to get the 4th one. WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED BY VACASSA AND WILL NEVER RENT ANOTHER PROPERTY MANAGE BY THEM

Very disappointing Unit

Numerous things need replacing or provided at unit….needs new living room furniture, new beach umbrella and chairs, new pots and pans, additional lighting in both bedrooms, update refrigerator and dishwasher, new furniture on outside screen porch. We had no hot water in the guest bedroom bathtub. VACASA was finally able to repair that 13 days into our stay. We had to buy everything we needed, . In all other Shorewalk units there were everyday supplies available like toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, adequate hangers, There was only 1 washcloth, proper light bulbs were not in the 1 lamp in guest bedroom. The owners need to come see what their unit is like. Everything is old, and has been done on the cheap. We would not consider renting this unit again. And will tell friends of our experience.

WATER PROBLEMS

Nice quiet location with nice amenities. However we had hot water problems that needed to be remedied: both showers had barely trickling hot water. Even though Customer service answered calls promptly, it took 6 calls (one to a supervisor), 2 videos and 3 long days for the "Local Manager" to contact a plumber who showed up around 7pm on the 3rd day of our stay. The plumber went around to all the faucets, because I pointed out that they all had some degree of malfunction and he proceeded to clean all the faucets which improved the flow of the hot water greatly except in the "guest" shower/tub (barely dripped). The latter had more serious clogging problems: black chunks of something. We needed to use the tub (of course), so I carried hot water from the kitchen to the tub only to find out that there were blacks specks in the hot water. The problem did not seem to apply to the cold water. Other than the water problems: we could not find the advertised Netflix, even with the assistance of Customer Service; the batteries in one of the TV controls were corroded and non-functional; and ants and very small insects could be found in the condo, not enough to chase us out, but annoying. This stay was sub-par, that may be why the daily charge was so reasonable.

This is a very convenient location to everything!

The property is quiet. Lot of beautiful trees and shade. Two pools, tennis court, pickle ball, basketball, shuffle board. Close to the beach and every store imaginable. Spacious condo with everything you need. Just bring yourself and your personal needs. The staff at the clubhouse are so friendly and helpful. I’d stay there again anytime.

Convenient - great layout for two couples

The condo was very convenient to get to IMG Academy which was why we were in town. Also the layout was wonderful and gave both couples their own space and bathroom which was appreciated. We also noticed upon arrival there was not a hair dryer and one was shipped to us overnight and greatly appreciated. The condo was clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Very clean!

Our party of 4 had a great experience at this property. The unit was, hands down, the cleanest vacation rental I have ever stayed in! We were only there for the weekend and did not use any of the kitchen appliances, but it appeared to be well stocked with pots/pans/etc.
