Great short stay for concert

Pretty good location, was able to walk to a few meals which was nice. Only thing I wasn't the biggest fan of was the confusing check in. I didn't really know how to find our building/room/parking but the guy at the hotel counter was very helpful. Also, could hear the laundry machine running at night which wasn't super pleasant. But staying here for 2 nights for the 2024 rockville concert it definitely served our needs.

Excellent condo, very clean!

This unit is very nice, spacious, and well-stacked. Exceptionally clean, too! Property still needs a lot of work, very sad. No pools, etc. But the condo made for a pleasant stay.

Wonderful experience at the white turtle

The view was beautiful! The unit was very comfortable. The furniture and bed were great. The wifi was great. The self check in / check out was so easy. The tv's were easy to operate.

4th of July vacation

We had an awesome time. The condo had everything we needed it was very clean. The living room has a recliner and sleeper sofa that are very comfortable too. The resort still has some repairs they are working on but that didn't stop us from enjoying our vacation. One outdoor pool, indoor pool and hot tub are now open from 9am to 9pm :) Just letting you know one outdoor pool and kids pool is still under construction due to the hurricanes damage, but they are working on it. The door that gives you access to the beach is also closed but they have a side door that will take you to an alley that takes you to the beach not inconvenient at all to us. We also enjoyed the beach so much. The resort also added some electric scooters and bikes that you can rent out. We will definitely go back and stay in the same condo. I highly recommend it.

Not a good experience

It was nice to overlook the ocean and the property was clean. We were with family and were grateful to have a place to stay, Otherwise we really disliked this experience with VRBO (and by extension with an entirely different company, Vacasa, who it turned out controlled the property). The VRBO listing headlined "shared pools, hot tub" without mentioning that the whole pool deck has been rendered completely unusable by a hurricane. We had a great deal of frustration getting into our unit, which could have been solved much earlier if the person at the desk hadn't been so indifferent/actively hostile, making clear to us that they had no control over the property and we were on our own. Parking was unavailable our second night, but that was clearly our problem, not theirs. The room itself smelled of mold, the bathroom door wouldn't latch, the closet door came off, and there were none of the simple amenities that we're used to seeing private owners provide, like a box of tissue or any hangers at all. The whole situation was one of complete inattention by the managers, and far from what a person would expect from a unit owned by a real, caring owner/human being - which was what VRBO used to be about. We've pretty much had it with VRBO.

Nice view

We had a love hate relationship with this unit. We loved the location and view. We did not love the management company in charge of this unit. We would absolutely rent at this resort through a private party or different company. We had a few issues and only 1 was addressed finally after we had been there most of our stay. Vacasa was the issue and hopefully the owner of this unit will consider making changes to who he uses.

Daytona Beach Resort Unit 532

Unit needed more repairs than I can mention. NO upkeep at all on this unit. Terrible experience and all the representative could say was I am sorry for your experience. Very subpar accommodations and customer service.

Great Stay

The resort is very nice with great amenities! The condo is very spacious and nicely appointed with everything you need. The only complaint is the hallway is next to the bedroom and the doors closing can be disruptive late at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location on the beach!

We were very impressed with our stay at the White Turtle condo in Daytona Beach, FL. The layout was perfect! Very spacious and easy to get to. The checkin process was very quick and easy and we were able to get a late 2 PM checkout for just a little bit extra which was totally perfect. 3 pools, an arcade room, big fitness center, and walk right on yo the beach made it all the better! Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Daytona Beach! Not crowded at all on a holiday weekend. Worth every penny!
