This incredible, two bedroom, two bath condominium is located in the Sunstone complex at Juniper Springs Resort. Located in beautiful Mammoth Lakes, California it features awesome ski-in and ski-out access for the ultimate skiing experience. Look up at the mountain from a private deck with all the amenities of home, and then some. Unlike the Juniper Springs condominiums, Sunstone is truly Ski-In and Ski-Out, just steps from the locker room to the ski slope.

Beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops and modern appliances including a large microwave oven and dishwasher. This spectacular condominium sleeps six, with a huge king bed, LCD screen tv and attached bath in the master bedroom, bunk bed with a double on bottom and twin on top and LCD screen tv in the second bedroom, and a 7 in thick, comfortable pull-out sofa-bed in the living room. Beautiful custom dining table and mountain decor throughout. Very comfortable living room with a 40 INCH wall mounted LCD screen TV, gas fireplace, cable TV and DVD player.

Located right on the ski slopes of Chair 15 for winter use, and hiking/mountain biking trails in the summer. Toasty warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We provide a fan for each room. Fantastic year-round heated pools and jacuzzi's. As if that were not enough, there are stainless outdoor barbecues, exercise room, laundry room, and high speed internet for your use. To relax a bit before or after skiing, there is a wonderful lounge, and several coffee bistro's. This is a Non-Smoking unit. Sorry, no pets.

Secure heated underground garage parking for 1 vehicle is available.

Low level intermediate skiers and riders can cruise down to the Eagle Express lift directly from the edge of the property. This high speed 6 person chair services the Little Eagle Ski Lodge, where you'll find a sport's shop, private ski school, equipment rentals, lockers, and an indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar.

The location is amazing! Traveling with teens this place was perfect as they were able to have direct access to chair 15. The unit was very clean and plenty of towels and extra blankets. The ease of unloading luggage in the underneath heated garage with easy elevator access was so appreciated.. they had luggage carts too. Will definitely be back!

Good base for exploring Mammoth

Nicely located and well equipped. Furnishings and kitchen well set up. Building was very warm so it took some work to get the apartment to a comfortable for us temperature

Convenient location at Eagle Lodge

Our family (teen/adults) stayed 5 nights over New Year’s. The property is clean and spacious. Check in was very easy and the property manager is very responsive. The location is excellent where we could ski right up to the gate for easy storage of our gear. The unit is well stocked with cooking equipment so we could easily make dinner each night. We had a great time and would like to stay here again on a future trip.

Few places that claim to be ski in/out are as accessible as this property. I love that you can click in & out right outside the back door. The convenience here is great. The furnishings are relatively new & in great shape. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Location is great, ski in and ski out. The Eagle chair lift is steps from the entrance to condo. Heated garage was a plus.

Skiing Irish Viking

My simple critiques are the bars of soap are way too small. Also, unclear how this was Ski In and Ski out. Needs to be more clearly marked . I’m sure the tremendous snow amount compounded this issue tremendously.

Eagle Lodge Stay

The 2 bedroom condo was amazing. First the location was perfect and convenient. It is located next to Chair 15 at Eagle lodge. With the recent storms mammoth had an incredible amount of snow everywhere, making the underground heated parking very convenient. The ski in and ski out aspect was also such a benefit as we barely had to drive anywhere our whole trip. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The guest lockers in the first floor made getting ready to ski quick and easy. A bonus was that they had luggage carts to bring everything up the elevator to our place. I would recommend this place to all my friends. The only thing we would of liked to be included in our building was an EV charger, however that wasn’t a big deal as there are plenty of chargers in town.

Great ski-in/Ski out location

Loved the true ski-in/ski-out access at this property! Would stay here again for this reason. Condo was really cute and comfortable. Would be perfect for family of 4, but 5 of us were able to make it work. Make sure to get the combo to the ski locker ahead of time. There were a couple downsides. The shutter over the deck is broken, which makes access to the deck area really difficult. From reviews in the guest book it looks like this has been an issue for a while. We were also asked to check out at 10:00, even though it shows 11:00 check out online, and had to return the parking pass at that time. Unlike hotels, you can't stay parked in the garage after check out because you don't have a parking pass. But all considered, we had a great stay and the ski conditions were amazing!

Reported lack of TV access due to apparent dysfunctional. cable box, but it was not corrected. Broken toaster was replaced promptly. Plumbing in 2nd bathroom was installed in opposite direction of standard; therefore, color coding with a red or blue dot (with nail polish, ie) would help reduce water wastage. Hot water recirculator would also save water. Electrical outlets are too large for devices, so plugs fall out unless propped up. Directions re. use of plastic cards would be helpful (we didn’t know it was for common areas). Directions re. steps of ski locker combo would also be helpful. Limited # of water glasses if there were 6 people. For the health of all, soap should be provided at all sinks. Appreciate lotion dispensers in showers.

Wonderful Unit (Highly Recommend!) However Needs A Little Work

First time ever staying at Sunstone complex. Great ski in/ski out proximity to Eagle Express. All units as I understand it are 2BR/2BA, with some privately owned and some owned by Mammoth. Anyways, this unit is a typical 2BR/2BA in the complex. Location is of course, king! Unit does is in need of minor repair which has been neglected if you read the “guest logs” in the living room. Specifically, the window blinds in the family room. They are broken! You cannot raise them or access the balcony. This has been a problem for the unit since last fall. The other biggest frustration was the television set-up. Streaming channels only over Sling. We could not watch NBC, ABC, CBS or FOX. Very frustrating! Also, no advise how to use the smart TV. Sling worked very poorly no the main TV set, but what we really missed was Network television. Would I stay at Sunstone again? Absolutely! Would I consider another unit in the complex? Absolutely! Oh, one other thing… water pressure not good with low flow shower heads in the master bedroom. Maintenance also needs to replace burnt out light bulbs. Other than that, this property is a gem.
