Japanese jacuzzi suite surrounded by state forest! 11 miles south of Ithaca
The Japanese suite was created as a dedication to our Japanese exchange students and friends. Many of the things found in the suite came from them and our travels to Japan. The suite is spacious and private, located in the All Welcome Inn property at the Log Country Inn Bed and Breakfast. You'll have access to hiking trails behind the house and lots of space to rest and relax on the property. This is an upstairs suite, attached to the larger All Welcome Inn house. For our guests staying 7 days or less, we offer a Polish breakfast in the main house included in the price! The owners of the B&B live on the property and are happy to help during your stay!
We love all pets! We ask that they are not left alone if this causes them anxiety and to make sure you have their vaccination records handy. We want them to enjoy their stay here just as much as you! We have a friendly dog named Zuch who is 14 years old and two cats, Tula and Guyu who live on the property as well.

Wanda is lovely and helpful. Breakfast was AmAZING! Homemade jam and blintzes, fresh bread, eggs and bacon, Russian pancakes, vegetables from her garden, coffee and tea all on gorgeous Polish painted ceramics. The main house of the B&B and breakfast room are stunningly beautifully decorated. The Japanese suite was very nice. Well-stocked, nicely decorated and clean though jacuzzi is not brand new in this room. The rooms in the main house, the Polish, African, and Russian rooms are Absolutely stunning and are brand new.
We had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked well. Hosts were very considerate and they made a terrific breakfast. We recommend.
Room was great. Property was beautiful, relaxing and just as lovely and quaint as can be. The hosts made us feel so welcome and special and went out of their way to meet our needs. Nicest, warmest people. Not only will we be back but we Will be telling our friends about this hidden gem.
This place is quite literally a doggy heaven. We had so much fun walking the beautiful trails behind the property and the additional trails just a short walk down the road. The area is so peaceful and serene, and the stars were amazing at night. The daily breakfast was delicious and kept us satisfied until dinner time, and the morning conversation with Wanda, Tom, and Sarah was the icing on the cake. Such lovely people! Any issues we had were answered promptly (my mom wanted an extra blanket and Tom came right over!). My mom and I didn’t mind staying out of the main town area at all because the trade off was well worth it to call this place home for a few days. It was about a 20 min drive to some of the parks and waterfalls, as well as to downtown Ithaca. Definitely check out the Ithaca Brewing company which is about 10-15min away- delicious food and beer and gorgeous patio with propane heaters. I already want to plan my stay for next year to return with my husband! Thank you so much!
Our group of 4 absolutely loved this stay - the suite was beautifully decorated, more than clean it was spotless, with good heat and hot water on a very cold day, mattresses were very comfortable (firm with a soft top layer), delightfully calm with ponds on the wooded property, and the owners who provided the delicious breakfast in the main building were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay again, the short drive from Ithaca is 100% worth it.
Wanda and Sarah provide personal attention, warmth and perfectly prepared breakfasts for guests of their Inn. My family stayed in the Polish Jacuzzi and Balcony rooms while visiting our daughter at nearby Cornell University. We were close enough to enjoy the Homecoming celebration while also being nestled in the Finger Lakes country side. The rooms and building were beautifully designed and decorated. We were given some leftovers to enjoy on our last day! The grounds and Inn are incredibly pet friendly. This is a one of a kind Inn with genuine beauty and superb hospitality.
We stayed seven days at Log Country Inn. If someone is looking to spend time with nature in the amazing forest, it’s the place. The facility is very clean and the host was providing variety of delicious breakfasts every morning. Very pleased with stay and definitely we will be back.
This is a beautiful, quiet property that is clean and relaxing. We enjoyed having such a lovely place to come home to as we toured around the Finger Lakes area for a few days. Highly recommended.
We couldn't be more satisfied with our experience at Sarah and Wanda's property. The surroundings were lovely, with woods and trails all around, but still an easy drive to Ithaca for dinner and recreation. The main building was magnificent and bright. Our room, a short walk away and decorated in a Japanese motif, was clean and inviting, with a comfortable bed and fantastic jetted tub.
The highlight of the weekend was no doubt the breakfasts provided by Wanda, which were as delicious as they were ample...... fresh fruit and bread, homemade spreads and preserves, eggs to order, fresh squeezed juice, great coffee.....as well as cheese blintz or inch high, light as a cloud "Russian pancakes", both to absolutely die for.
We so enjoyed getting to know Sarah and Wanda during our meals. They are engaging, fascinating people and wonderful hosts. It was a weekend wonderfully spent.
Sarah and Wanda were very gracious and personable hostesses. They made my husband and I and our 2 dogs feel welcomed and we plan on returning there in the near future.
We spent six weeks here while we were waiting to move into our new house in the area, and we had a great stay! The hospitality was great, the suite was comfortable, and the location is beautiful. We’ve only been gone for a few days and I already miss the jacuzzi!
My boyfriend and I had a great stay at the Log Country Inn B&B! Wanda and Sarah were very accommodating and friendly (and the breakfast was delicious!) and helpful with recommendations. They have created a welcoming and warm atmosphere, and accommodations were excellent. We loved the suite and being next to the state forest. Overall a really wonderful experience! Would recommend to everyone.
At first, it wasn’t clear to us that this place is a bed and breakfast. The family’s been running it for years. They love this place and it shows. Sarah and her mother Wanda are great cooks. The breakfast was delicious. Take a look at their website for Log Country Inn to get an overall sense of their place.
There are a few other listings in their property, which gives it a communal feel. However, we never felt like we didn’t have any privacy. Our 9 year old daughter loved it. We live in a very urban area, so she loved that she could just explore the woods with our dog.
It was very cold while we were there. That’s exactly what we wanted. It snowed and when we looked at some waterfalls there were partly frozen. We also took a wintry hike at Buttermilk Falls, which is just down the road. So quiet and beautiful with the snow covered trees.
All in all, a great place to stay if you want to do activities in nature while being close to Ithaca.
We really enjoyed the Country Setting and log Buildings.
It is a peaceful quiet location. The breakfast was excellent.
