Guests will enjoy a unique place in South West Georgia for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, and a trip back in time to the "old southern traditions" of farming, plantations,
food, and small communities.
1) For those who love different types of entertainment: Tallahassee offers, concerts and sporting events, Thomasville "The City of Roses": a Victorian Christmas and rose parade in the spring.

2) Lots of annual festivals in nearby towns such as Peanut Festival (Edison),
Mayhaw Festival (Colquitt), Daylilly Festival (Adel), River Town Days(Bainbridge), Antique Car Rally (Cairo).

3) For the women, you can still find a few treasures in the antique shops & boutiques in Bainbridge, Cairo, and Thomasville.

4) For the guy's weekend, the Flint River boat ramp for fishing is only 5 miles down the road so bring your fishing gear and boat. Bass tournaments are held annually on Lake Seminole in Donaldsonville.

5) For the avid hunter, there is deer, quail, and hog hunting....lots of opportunity for successful hunting trips!

Although career opportunities took the Leeson's around the country and they spent many years in Las Vegas, Florida and the Midwest, they both found their way back home to South Georgia to return to their roots and enjoy nature and the Southern hospitality.

The Leeson's were able to acquire this 1920's home that provides a unique setting to enjoy nature and a peaceful lifestyle.

Guests will fall in love with the rocking chairs on the front porch, the views of the pecan orchard and the sounds of nature - such as the rooster crowing in the morning, flower beds, bird houses & feeders, private sitting area with waterfall.
