Nestled beside Flat Creek in the peaceful cove of Montreat, Flat Creek Cottage is a spacious, pet-friendly retreat perfect for large families or groups. Surrounded by rhododendron and evergreens, this inviting home offers a blend of cozy gathering spaces and quiet nooks for relaxation. With direct access to Montreat's conference activities, Robert Lake Playground, and Lake Susan, and just minutes from the heart of Black Mountain, Flat Creek Cottage invites you to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the best of the mountains.
About the Home
• Inviting living room with Smart TV for streaming. Note: The wood-burning fireplace is NOT usable.
• Fully equipped kitchen with ample counter space, dishwasher, French press, kettle, and drip-style coffee maker
• Dining area with seating for 10 and kitchen island seating for 4
• Screened porch with outdoor dining table and serene views of Flat Creek
• Lower-level recreation room with TV and ping pong

• Main level bedroom with queen-size bed and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower
• Upper-level bedroom with queen-size bed and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower
• Upper-level bedroom with full-size bed
• Upper-level bedroom with three twin-size beds; a full bathroom, with a walk-in shower, can be accessed from the hallway
• The lower level has unfinished features (exposed pipes, cinderblock walls), but is perfect for overflow sleeping with a queen-size bed, twin-size bed, and full bathroom.
