Cedar Ridge Lodge sits atop a wooded ridge on 100 acres of private, gated property called Mountain Vista Retreat. With breathtaking panoramic views, the spacious and well-appointed 3,714 sq. ft home offers the perfect getaway for groups and families seeking a rustic setting with modern amenities. Whether you relax on site or venture out into McCurtain County for nearby outdoor activities or points of interest, a stay at the Lodge will be memorable! *** NEW in 2025 fiber internet ***

At the heart of the home is its great room with vaulted ceilings, stone fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful Kiamichi Mountains. The open plan allows for easy access to the kitchen and dining area offering plenty of enjoyment space for larger groups. Guests appreciate the second large entertainment room well-suited for kids and teens. Relax on the furnished back patio, take a dip in the hot tub, gather 'round the fire ring to make s'mores, or square off for a rousing game of horseshoes. The 2-acre mowed backyard offers endless possibilities for fun. All ages will enjoy a stay at Mountain Vista Retreat.

McCurtain County is chock full of outdoor adventure opportunities. Swim at Broken Bow Lake, ATV through the Ouachita Mountains, cast a line in Lower Mountain Fork River, pet a skunk at Hochatown Petting zoo, or zoom 35mph on a zipline through Beavers Bend State Park. It's also home to breweries, wineries, distilleries, restaurants, casinos, museums, and more. Amazing place to unwind and breathe in the quiet calmness of seclusion. Rain or shine.3rd annual visit and already planning the 4th. Great cozy living room, bedrooms, and Clean cabin. This was our second stay at this fabulous place! We were on vacation with 6 of our mostly grown kids. There is plenty of room to spread out! We took a remote control car down the road on the property and found a rocky area that was perfect! We also flew a remote control plane around the back yard! Endless board games and puzzles kept us busy! Highly recommended!!

Why they chose this property

Cedar Ridge Lodge at Mountain Vista Retreat has gorgeous views and is spacious and welcoming. It's comfortable for larger groups and families to gather and spend time together while offering plenty of space, indoors and out, for everyone to explore.

What makes this property unique

The outdoor fit pit and seating area is one of my favorites. The outdoor hot tub with mountain views is pretty awesome, too. The upstairs entertainment room that offers a second space for people to gather, watch tv and play games, gives kids and teens a place to be that's really fun for them.
