The boutique hotel "Retiro da Janela" impresses with its calm and powerful charisma and the view of the sea, only 5 km from the coast and 20 minutes. from Faro airport in a central location in the golden triangle of the Algarve. The guest house comprises two suites, a guest room and two apartments. Each room has its own terrace with pool and sea views.

We have restored the 200-year-old Quinta ("farm") with great attention to detail, including the furniture.

A harmonious and powerful place to stay, enjoy and recharge has been created. Anyone who comes here is enthusiastic and feels at home straight away.

The "Retiro da Janela" is a boutique hotel run by the Swiss owner and offers bed and breakfast. Personal, individual, sustainable and with Swiss charm and commitment.
The property covers approximately 2,000 m2 and can comfortably accommodate 10 people.

There is a spacious pool in front of the house (heated approx. Mid-April - mid-October) for swimming with a sea view and the pool terrace to linger. The orchard is spacious and relaxation is provided in the various seating areas and hammocks.

There is a large free parking behind the house as well as over 2,000 m2 of land with numerous fig trees to snack on.

The apartment Vreni's "APARTAMENTO da LAVANDARIA" offers max. 3 people. A box spring double bed in the bedroom ensures the best possible comfort. The lounge is equipped with a TV and offers enough space for an extra bed.
The very spacious kitchen with every comfort has a fridge, oven, induction hob, coffee machine, cooker, dishes and lots of storage space. Total approx. 56 m2.

The bathroom, lined with restored antique floor tiles, is rather small. End the day with a glass of wine on the large private terrace with pool and sea views.
