Lovely holiday cottage, peaceful, wonderful pool, close to Coimbra

Casa Ouro is a spacious old country house, renovated true to style and with much loving care, offering all modern conveniencies: comfortable double beds with orthopedic mattresses, central heating in winter and air conditioning in summer; satellite TV; lovely country house kitchen with modern equipment: cooker with devitrified glass, stove, microwave, refrigerator with freezer unit, toaster, coffee machine, water boiler. Of course there are a washing machine and an ironing board. At wish the owners supply an iron. In the garden there is a generous barbecue area - an invitation to enjoy your barbecue.
The house is completely separated from all other houses or neighours.
The guests may use the whole country estate - that is, Quinta Do Sobral's 4.5 ha - with its vineyards, its old chestnut and cork oak trees, to relax or go for a walk.

The pool (6 x 10 m) is situated in the centre of the country estate.
All our guests are invited to have fun there and enjoy the wonderful panoramic views.

The estate is peacefully situated in an idyllic and rural landscape, even though only 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Figueiró dos Vinhos with its charming historic centre. You will find nearly everything you wish: shops, supermarkets, reaturants, well maintained municipal gardens and a lot more.

We offer a guided tour of the estate to all our guests!

The region really is inviting:
Gentle wooded hills - Picturesques towns and villages with their friendly inhabitants - Mysterious castles and old churches - everything still to be discovered!
4 sites of UNESCO's World Heritage may be visited in nice relaxing daytrips.

More, the unspoilt nature with its numerous rivers and lakes is perfect for all types of water sports. The various river swimming pools with always clean water are a rare speciality of this area.

What a pity, our construction works aside the holiday home are delayed. For this the terrace, too, was not yet ready. Sometimes it is difficult to things done as it had been agreed.

Delightful venue

Delightful house set in beautiful Figuerio Dos Vinhos countryside. The Hosts (Bridgitte & Bernard) are particularly nice. The swimming pool is lovely and in serene location. minor point would be some equipment to use in Microwave. Overall, a great stay.

Ein kleines Küchendesaster

Die Kücheneinrichtung ist noch ergänzungsbedürftig. Das Haus hat keine Terrasse. Man kann vor dem Haus sitzen, es ist dafür aber eigentlich kein Platz vorgesehen. Ich würde das Haus nicht als komfortabel bezeichnen. Es ist groß. Der Pool liegt in etwa 100 m Entfernung. Ich habe dort nie einen Sonnenschirm gesehen. Im Wasser war meist ein Sauggerät. Für mich ein stark eingeschränktes Badevergnügen.

Bitte, wir verstehen Ihren Kommentar nicht. Sie haben uns bei Ankunft mitgeteilt, was Sie in der Küche vermissen, und wir haben alles gebracht. Sie haben bestätigt, dass alles in Ordning sei. Was meinen Sie denn mit ergänzungsbedürftig? Die Terrasse war bei Ihrem Aufenthalt nicht benutzbar wegen sehr verspäteter Fertigstellung des Agro-Anbaus. Wir haben das erklärt und uns entschuldigt. Was meinen Sie denn mit den Sonnenschirmen? Sie wissen sicherlich, dass wir eine größere Anzahl haben. Wir haben im Zeitraum Ihres Aufenthalts verschiedene Kunden gefragt, und alle sagten uns, dass sie keine brauchen. Bitte bedenken Sie: Es war noch Nebensaison, und viele der öffentlichen Fluss-Schwimmbäder hatten noch gar nicht geöffnet. Warum haben Sie nicht mit uns über Ihren Wunsch gesprochen? Wir haben ziemliche Klimmzüge gemacht, um Ihnen den Pool in guten Bedingungen anzubieten, Wasserqualität etc. Warum schreiben Sie solche Sachen? Wenn Sie unser komfortables, liebevoll und aufwendig ausgestattetes, zudem innen und außen frisch renoviertes, und beliebtes Ferienhaus nicht mögen, suchen Sie sich bitte eine andere Unterkunft für Ihren nächsten Aufenthalt. Wir können auch anders gegen solche Kommentare vorgehen.

Location pas du tout conforme avec le descriptif d'Abritel au lieu d'un grand barbecue sur une belle terrasse nous avons eu un barbecue de 40 cms au ras du sol. La terrasse un chantier en cours rien à voir avec la photo et la bétonnière qui demarait le matin à 8h sous nos fenêtres de chambre.1 frigidaire et une cafetière à peine assez grands pour 2 personnes 4 verres à pied pour 6 personnes nous avons racheté de la vaisselle. Lave linge dans le hangar au milieu des outils étendoir à linge ridicule. Aucune precison dans l'annonce concernant la piscine qui est collective à plusieurs locations. Accès dans la propriété par un seul portail ou le bas de caisse des automobiles touchait en permanence ayant occasionné même une dégradation sur un véhicule. .Nous avons tenté de joindre Abritel sur place sans succès nous avons des photos à l'appui et nous demandons un dédommagement étant client Abritel et n'étant pas habitué à ce genre de prestation. Pour notre part il serait nécessaire qu'un agent Abritel se rende sur place pour vérifier le produit qu'il met en location.Dans l'attente d'un retour favorable de votre part car cette location a gâché une partie de nos vacances. On s'attendait à une location en adéquation avec le prix que nous avons payé: 3 646, 80 €. Cordialement. Famille Antunes .

Location conforme totalement avec le descritif. Le lave-vaisselle, que vous avez réclamé à plusieurs fois sur place, ne fait pas partie de notre offre. Nous n'avons pas non plus promis de grand barbecue. Les petits travaux de construction qui ont eu lieu à environ 20 m derrière la limite de propriété arrière ont subi un retard considérable en raison des conséquences des restrictions prolongées imposées par COVID. Nous vous avons expliqué pourquoi et nous nous en excusons. La vaisselle et les couverts sont disponibles pour 6 personnes, parfois pour 8. La machine à laver se trouve dans une pièce séparée et entièrement isolée. Dans notre annonce, il est bien précisé que la piscine est à la disposition de tous nos hôtes, pas seulement de votre groupe. Le seuil de la porte d'entrée a été conçu par la municipalité, qui en est responsable. Nous ne comprenons pas votre problème. Si vous cherchiez le luxe urbain 5 étoiles, pourquoi venir ici ? Nous offrons un niveau de qualité élevé en milieu rural et nos prix sont raisonnables. Nous avons de très nombreux clients satisfaits.Nous vous avons remis la maison dans un état de propreté très soigné. Nous avons eu du mal à vous convaincre de la nécessité d'entrer dans la maison au moins une fois par semaine pour faire le ménage et changer le linge. Il nous a été difficile d'obtenir des rendez-vous de votre part. Pourquoi vous plaindre maintenant de la propreté ? Nous ne comprenons vraiment pas. D'ailleurs, un membre de votre groupe est apparu ici, à notre bâtiment principal, et a commencé à photographier les voitures de nos hôtes. Vous avez réagi de manière désagréable à notre remarque. Ne savez-vous pas que de telles photos violent la vie privée de nos hôtes et les dispositions en vigueur en matière de protection des données ?

Endroit magnifique!

Nous étions un groupe de 6(2enfants de 10 ans, 2 parents et 2 grands-parents). Nous avons loué la maison secondaire. Celle-ci est propre et spacieuse avec de belles commodités. Le site est enchanteur! Vignes, oliviers, chênes-lièges, nombreux arbres fruitiers. Magnifique piscine. Animaux domestiques et de ferme que les enfants ont particulièrement apprécié. Les hôtes très sympathiques et empressés de nous répondre et de nous informer. Les villages avoisinants sont intéressants à visiter. Plusieurs activités pour tous les goûts à proximité. Nous recommandons sans hésiter, notre seul regret est d’y avoir séjourné seulement 2 nuits, nous en aurions pris au moins deux autres!

Dommage que l'espace extérieur n'ait pas été terminé lorsque vous étiez ici avec nous. Les travaux avaient commencé, mais n'étaient pas encore terminés. Tout est en retard en ce moment, les matériaux manquent, les ouvriers ne viennent pas, etc. Nous ne comprenons pas votre critique concernant l'intérieur. Tout est généreusement aménagé. Le réfrigérateur est de taille tout à fait normale et les étendoirs à linge n'ont normalement pas de décoration. S'il vous plaît, qu'est-ce qui vous a manqué exactement ?

Ambiente perfeito para descansar. Apenas estava em falta melhores condicoes para realizacao de barbecue. Tivemos um pequeno incidente emque as 10h da manha na piscina mamdaram os miudos (3 e 6 anos) fazer pouco barulho pois havia hospedes a dormir.

Muito obrigada pela sua avaliação a qual agradeço muito. Por favor, sobre o incidente: não se trata dos miudos. O comportamento deles era tudo normal. O rádio muito alto que os Senhores instalaram na piscina à 9 h da manhã era problemático, era muito alto em toda a área. No momento em que eu pedi aos Senhores respeitar os outros clientes e os nossos vizinhos já tinha recebido uma reclamação de algum vizinho, uma boa pessoa tolerante. Que pena que agora o Senhor apresenta uma tal descrição do "incidente".

Peaceful and relaxing

We wanted a get-a-way from our busy big city lives and Quinta do Sobral is perfect for that! The location is beautiful and right in the middle of Portugal so perfect for day trips. We loved Agua Azul for swimming. The villa is nice and well set out and it was super easy to deal with the owners. The breakfast delivered every morning was a wonderful surprise. For guests who want to self-cater the house is perfectly functional but worth knowing that kitchen is kitted out quite minimalist. A guest book with explanations of where to take the litter/bins, where the supermarket is and perhaps suggestions of day trips would be a nice addition. As would more light in the kitchen. But overall we had a wonderful time.

Sehr netter Aufenthalt in der Mitte von Portugal

Das Ferienhauses mit 3 Schlafzimmer, Wohnküche und 2 Badezimmer ist ausgezeichnet für eine Familie (bis 6 Schlafplätze) und sowohl sauber als auch gut ausgestattet. Das angebotenen inkludierte Frühstück beim Ferienhaus ist sehr angenehm. Der Pool ist sauber, groß und den ganzen Tag (auch am abend noch) zu nutzen. Insbesondere mit Kindern ist das ideal. Es wurden auch eigene Liegetücher für den Pool zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Lage ist sehr gut für Ausflüge in der Region ("world heritage sites") - Coimbra, Conimbrîga, Tomar, Batalha, „Schiefer Dörfer“ (Aldeias do Xisto) etc. - als auch zur Küste - Figueira da Foz, Nazare, etc. Die Vermieter sind zuvorkommend und nett. Jederzeit wieder!

Lovely Cottage on a Beautiful Quinta

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Ouro for an extended period of time. First I would like to state that the house looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The furnishings and fixtures are high quality, simple yet classic. The grounds are beautiful and although it is a working Quinta complete with grapevines, olive trees and livestock, it is very well cared for and tidy. You will be sure to enjoy the pristine and private pool. The hosts Bernard and Brigitte are attentive yet respectful of privacy. The town of Figueiro dos Vinhos, though small has all the amenities one would require. For a special treat, make sure to catch the local Farmer's Market on Saturdays. On a more personal note, we found our hosts to be absolutely lovely and their passion for their Quinta and their guests shines through in everything they do. So if you are looking for an idyllic, quiet stay in the beautiful Portuguese countryside, while still close to castles and attractions, then this is the place to stay.
