Lovely property with a large and useable floor plan

Well cared for and thoughtfully constructed property with a fantastic main living room and kitchen close enough to Mt Baker ski area to easily access and play in the mountains.

Extended ski weekend

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at "The Getaway". The home was wonderful to come back to after a day of skiing at Mt. Baker. The open kitchen/living room created a warm environment to cook and relax in. Also enjoyed the hot tub! Great place to call home for a few days!

Why they chose this property

This property has it all, it is located in a sunny area with amazing backdrop of trees and the mountain ranges. It has one of the best/unique views in Mt Baker. It is walking distance to trails and rivers. It is a large lot and cabin, which provides privacy and quietness which is hard to find in Mt. Baker surrounding neighborhoods. It is located close to Maple Falls town and Glacier town.
If you are looking for a great place to access one of the best ski resorts in WA, this is the place. Just 20 miles from the Mt. Baker Ski resort and Nooksack cross country parks. After a great day of skiing or snowboarding, the cabin provides you with a private covered hut-tub and full amenities whether you want to read a book, listen to music, paly corn hole, try a new board game or watch a movie.
If you are visiting in the summer, you have access to some of the most amazing hiking trails, tubing down the river, river rafting, fishing and lake activities. It is really ideally located to access all the outdoor activities we love here in the NW.

Our cabin is not managed by a large outfit, it is managed with love/care by my family and I. The experience is top notch and we are there for you night/day. We know everything about the house and the surrounding areas, we are true experts that can make sure you have an amazing time.
