WOW! We loved our stay here! House was big and inviting. The kids loved the farm and the farm animals. Plenty of room for the kids to run around and even hit the golf balls. Very quiet at night to sit on the front porch and the views are amazing!

Excellent place to stay, especially if you like a rural stay. Perfect for seeing attractions in southern San Luis Valley, such as the Sand Dunes. Large and comfortable. Dog friendly. Big area to walk dogs. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. Kitchen and bar was very well stocked. Including items I would not expect, such as cooking oil, spices, and condiments. Beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at the farmhouse. Our host was inviting and prompt on arrival. Communication with host/owners was fantastic. The home was very cozy and could sleep a lot of people! Our dogs enjoyed walks on the property and also seeing the cows. Beautiful sunrises over Mount Blanca could be seen from the property/ and windows. Thanks for a great stay!

Peace & Quiet

The house was neat and quiet,each room had its own unique feeling of peace and relaxation. The country kitchen was awesome, and bar/family room was cozy. Enjoyed ping pong as well. The host was fabulous amazing intriguing and fun. We partied we saw the whole ranch, played with cows horses and dog. Unique location unique host. Must stay VRBO again.

Fabulous sand dunes birthday

A large group of my family with multiple children stayed here for my son’s birthday trip to the Dunes. There was plenty of room for everyone. The surrounding property is lovely to go for a walk and explore. Lots of games and activities to keep the kids happy-they even helped feed the cows which they loved! A fairly close drive to the dunes (under 30 minutes). The host lives on the property next door and was incredibly helpful and responsive.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary here and we hope this place is around for years to come for us to bring friends and family. The house was so light and airy inside with tons of space, lots of seating in the living room and dinning room, games of all kinds, and everything you need in the kitchen. Activities all over the property. There is so much room inside, very comfortable bed, lots of fans, bedding and really anything and everything you could need. The VIEWS, OMG from the front porch, living room and bedrooms. We would recommend this place to everyone wanting to have the BEST SAN LUIS VALLEY EXPERIENCE. Reed was our amazing host. He shared some valley history with us and helped us find places to visit we weren't aware of. We are so thankful to get to meet someone like him. Thank you REED!

Good home base for Great Sand Dunes

This property was a perfect home base for our family's trip to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Communication prior to arrival could have been better. I messaged the property owner via the VRBO app the day before check-in and then texted the morning of our arrival because I hadn't received any check-in instructions. Onsite property manager Reed was friendly and welcoming and quick to share helpful tips about the area.

Blanca in July

This property is a great location for visits to the Sand Dunes, Alamosa and the Cumbres and Toltec railroad. There are several hiking trails nearby, too. The views of Blanca Peak are amazing! The farm house has been upgraded recently and has plenty of space for a 8 people and includes 2 full baths. The kitchen needs some additional accessories and small appliances for a better experience. The owner continues to improve on this new listing. It's a great place to disconnect for a few days.
