About this property
L'Esprit Chartrons - Centre de Bordeaux
The Cocoonr agency offers this beautiful and spacious apartment for rent in the heart of the Chartrons district in Bordeaux, a stone's throw from the Quays and Rue Notre Dame. On the third floor (no elevator) of a stone building, L'Esprit Chartrons offers every comfort, combining modernity and old-world charm for an exceptional stay in Bordeaux. Tastefully and carefully decorated, L'Esprit Chartrons has one bedroom and can comfortably accommodate two guests.
The accommodation is composed as follows:
- A beautiful living room with a large dining table
- A lounge with a flat-screen TV, sofa, and coffee table
- A fully equipped open kitchen (refrigerator, stove, multifunction oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, and numerous kitchen utensils)
- A bedroom with a 140x200 cm double bed
- A beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower
The apartment is ideally located in the heart of the Chartrons district, a lively and vibrant neighborhood in a pleasant setting. You will be close to all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets, and more.
Activities:
- You can visit the Chartrons district, on the banks of the Garonne. This district offers a prime location between the prestigious Esplanade des Quinconces and the Jardin Public. Marked by its wine trade and enriched by its maritime exchanges, its streets are home to sumptuous residences of former merchants alongside wine warehouses. A village within the city, much like the suburb it once was, this mecca for antique dealers and merchants encapsulates the history of Bordeaux.
Today, the merchants are still in Chartrons (after a brief hiatus during the 20th century). They have been joined in the narrow streets by antique dealers.
- We also invite you to visit Rue Notre Dame, which stretches for 700 meters and has around forty shops. This iconic street in the neighborhood has seen art galleries and interior design stores flourish over time. Its small shops, which give it a BOBO vibe, are in keeping with its history. A history of the neighborhood that is still dear to the hearts of its residents. Many of them consider themselves Chartronnais long before they consider themselves Bordelais!
Getting around:
If you come by car, you can park in the paid parking lot at Cité Mondiale, 50 meters from the accommodation.
Public transportation:
50 meters away, tram line B (stop “CAPC”)
