About this property

Lake View Getaway

Lakeview house located in the beautiful Sister Lakes area in Southwest Michigan. Access to Round lake is just a short walk down the road from the house. The 3 bedroom/ 1.5 bath home features a spacious main living/ kitchen area, that includes a refreshment station and wine fridge and can accommodate up to 12 guests. There are lots of indoor and outdoor activities available for all ages including lots of games and several two seater kayaks to explore the lake. The large deck area features both, a gas and charcoal grill and there is a bonfire area as well. The home is about 15 minutes away from Saint Joseph/Benton Harbor and about 25 minutes away from South Haven.

The house features a king size bedroom suite as well as a second full size bedroom. The upstairs loft area has two full over twin bunk beds as well as as pull out sofa (full size).
Additionally, the living area has a comfortable pull out queen sofa bed.

The home has one large full bathroom as well as a half bathroom.

The home features a fully equipped kitchen with a gas range. There is a wood burning stove/ fireplace as well.

Note: Per Vrbo policy, we are allowed to have security cameras outside of the home. These are for security purposes ONLY when the house is empty. We respect your privacy; therefore, if you do not wish the cameras be online during your stay feel free to made the request via e-mail or text and we will disarm the cameras during your visit that are located at each entrance.

A couple of kayaks are available for use as well and there are a variety of indoor and outdoor games also.

Sandra and Aldo's place was wonderful! Very comfortable and relaxing. There were so many extra touches, like coffee, coffee syrups, games, kayaks, kids toys, etc. I absolutely would rent again. And they were great at communication, very friendly and accommodating!

Great Lake Getaway

The Hosts provided so many little extras (often the little things you don't think about when traveling) that made our stay so much more pleasant. Great little cottage to make family memories. Will definitely keep it in mind for a next trip to the area.

Bachelor Party Vacation

The property was incredibly nice and outfitted with everything we needed for our stay. The cookware availability was a huge help so I didn't need to pack a kitchen and the barbecue was brand new (with charcoal and chimney provided)! This is a great stay for any trip to the Sister Lakes area.

Nice property in a quiet neighborhood. Good stay for our family. We loved the games and appreciated the water dispenser and multiple coffee makers. The kitchen drawers and cabinets needed vacuumed out. And I couldn't find pot holder but there were plenty of kitchen towels.

Great Place! The house was one of the best stocked short-stay homes we’ve visited! Nice linens and towels, comfy beds, plenty of cooking supplies and lots of extras included like picnic supplies, grills, charcoal, beach items and treats for the kids and adults alike! Check in was simple and easy. Door lock is a bit touchy to learn but they provide easy details. Place was well sorted. Only one shower was a bit of a challenge but what was there was nice. They thought of ALOT of nice little touches like laundry soap, ice, coffee, wine, and more you name it.

This place was our first ever VRBO and it was by far the absolute best experience we have ever had. They think of everything you need- they have amazing accommodations and room set up is great. Amazing communication and this is somewhere you could book today and only have to pack you clothes and essential Belongs and not have to worry on day one!!

Thanksgiving stay by Round Lake.

Had an excellent stay over Thanksgiving weekend. Hosted Thanksgiving dinner with my mother. The cabin was clean, and the instructions were clear, simple and easy to follow. The location is very relaxing and surrounded by nature. This was our second time spending Thanksgiving in the cabin and would definitely stay here again.

We love vacationing in Sister Lakes because it’s the perfect getaway from the daily hustle and bustle. It’s a peaceful and quaint retreat that is still close to the various places and activities that make a vacation memorable.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the property and the peaceful location near Round Lake. The home offers a getaway from the daily hustle and bustle; yet, there are lots of summer and winter activities in the area.

A trip exploring the local farms, breweries and restaurants is worth checking out. We highly recommend the Stand or the Sister Lakes Brewing Company. If you enjoy wine, there are several vineyards in the area as well, such as Karma Vista Vineyards and Winery and Contessa Wine Cellars. Must see attractions include the Silver Beach area and the lighthouse in Saint Joseph (they offer lighthouse tours on Saturday’s; access lighthouse via Tiscornia park) or the Sarrett Nature Center. A more reclusive beach area is located at Jean Klock Park in Benton Harbor.
The Curious Kids' Museum and discovery zone offers a wonderful excursion for the little ones.

No matter what you are seeking to do on your vacation, the Sister Lakes area has lots to offer and will not disappoint you.
