We will return, it was as pictured and so close to the waterfront downtown area. Must visit liberty street restaurants and shops! Wish we could have stayed longer
The communication with the owner was easy, he was available to answer questions about the property and the town. The apartment was beautifully maintained, clean, welcoming. The view is extraordinary. I look forward to returning!
The instructions from the property manager were easy to follow making check in and out a breeze. This is a great property for a quick weekend stay! Thanks so much!
This place was awesome. We loved it. And it would’ve been good to have instructions on how to control the tv and the heat. Thank you for a lovely weekend!
The balcony view was lovely. The bed is situated so that you awake with the morning sun. As was mentioned in the write-up by the owner there are trains that pass by. The owner provided ear plugs at the bedside. The kitchen was clean and dishware and cookware were provided. The host was responsive to all emails.
We visited from NJ for a few nights and had a great time. We loved the location of the place and view. While we spent a lot of time out and exploring, we even enjoyed simply staying in and relaxing since the place was so great. Eric, the host, was very responsive and hospitable. We would strongly recommend others to stay here if they’re interested in visiting the Newburgh/Beacon area, and we would absolutely stay here again!
Love these older homes in the area and this one overlooking the Hudson didn’t disappoint. Enjoyed coffee on the second floor balcony and the view all day long! The home had everything we needed and was a quick ride to the shops, restaurants and marina we wanted to go to.
Great little simple place with good proximity to Hudson Valley sights. Nice balcony with view for morning coffee or light dinner.Owner was responsive to our needs. Could be warm on a hot night with no AC. His 2 fans helped. Overall positive stay.
Nice house, good location. Great view. More kitchen and dining space than I needed but I had a great time....I would do this one again as a single person, perhaps with a second guest.
Very comfortable, well-appointed.
Beautiful view of the Hudson with second floor balcony.
Host went out of his way to accomodate a special need of mine, which i greatly appreciate. He was communicative, reliable, and very helpful. Lovely block in an up an coming area.
We truly enjoyed this beautiful second floor apartment with a wonderful view of the Hudson River. Very quiet neighborhood of beautiful Victorian-style houses, wonderful view of the sunrise from the balcony, cleans and modern interior with very nice furnishings and tasteful decor. Very responsive host. Very easy walk to good nearby restaurants including Betty’s and all the fancy restaurants on Primo Waterfront. We will be back!
Cute little place with character in an up in coming area of Newburgh. A little rough around the edges but the view was quite nice. Very small bathroom and the kitchen was modestly equipped but functional. Bed was very comfortable and the living area and dining room were quite nice. some nice restaurants within walking distance on Liberty but it was a bit cold and rainy so we drove. Parking was readily accessible during the week. May be busier on the weekends
Our favorite part of this rental was the view and closeness to the river and bridge. We did feel a bit unsettled in the space - occassional noises from electronics throughout the day/night and lacking a shower curtain and curtain in the bathroom felt a bit uncomfortable. The furnishings were very eclectic and didn’t quite seem like they necessarily went together, but they were fine for our short stay. When we had trouble getting in the host was quick to help thankfully. I do wish we we were provided instructions for using the tv and thermostat.
The accomidations we're wonderful. The view was fabulous. The host was absolutely the best. Would definitely recommend this property for a visit to the Hudson Valley.
We enjoyed our stay at Eric's place - it's furnished like an upscale boutique hotel, and the terrace overlooking the river is wonderful. It's on a block of historical homes and the neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful, while offering great proximity to the the waterfront, restaurants, and the town of Beacon just across the bridge. Eric was a kind host (even left us a bottle of bubbly in the fridge since we were celebrating our anniversary!) He answered questions instantly, and gave us recommendations for restaurants & sightseeing in the area. The only downside that travelers going in the summer months should be aware of is that there's no A/C in the apartment - just a ceiling fan and a fan by the bed. We had the bad luck of traveling during a very hot weekend, so nights were very uncomfortable - but the bed itself is VERY comfortable so in cooler months this would be an ideal place to stay. Even without A/C we really enjoyed our stay overall, it was a great weekend, thanks Eric!
