Beautiful, comfortable, immaculate home in a great location near YNP. Well appointed, comfy beds, nice bathrooms, big garage and 2 cool back patios/ fire pit.
Convenient to Y-stone. Well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the living room with its comfortable couches. The layout is a little different but it worked for us.
Great location with easy access to Yellowstone and a fabulous grocery store just a few minutes south. Plenty of space, a well stocked kitchen, a fabulous outdoor space and very comfortable overall. The only thing to be aware of is that this property sits right along a state highway so, when you are outside, there is quite a bit of vehicle noise. That did not bother us inside the cabin however. Beds were comfy, the washer and dryer were a plus and we enjoyed the fire pit at night. Communication with the host was easy and the huckleberry pancake mix and syrup were wonderful! Overall, a great stay!
We loved our stay here. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The kitchen was fully stocked. The garage was really nice to have in winter. The backyard was perfect for playing in the snow. The cabin was very clean. The property owner was very easy to work with! My family is requesting we go back next year.
Everything was clean and comfortable! The kitchen is surprisingly well appointed and the house itself is just the right amount of quirky to be interesting. Just one thing to note is that the bunk house doesn't have a bathroom, which wasn't clear from the listing. Not a problem, just something we discovered upon arrival. Otherwise, we enjoyed a lovely week.
Great stay! Clean, updated cabin in good location!
We had a great stay at the lazy moose lodge. The cabin is updated and super cute. Our party was 3 families- 8 adults 3 kids. The kitchen got a little tight when all adults were in it but wasn’t a big deal and it had everything we needed for our stay. We arrived to a cute welcome basket with local huckleberry items for us to try. The bunkhouse is detached from the main house and doesn’t have a bathroom which we didn’t realize beforehand but again no big deal. Location was great, just a short drive to Yellowstone. Overall great stay and would absolutely return if we are ever back in the area.
The house was great. The bed room layout is a little wonky, but totally useful. The roads up to the house was plowed and we didn't have any issues gettting to it (definitely recommend 4WD). The garage is huge.
One one of the weekends they had closed the main road due to high winds in the valley. But other than that fantastic spot.
This cabin is spacious and very comfortable! It had a real homey feel that we loved. Love the master bedroom! And the beds were very comfy with big soft pillows. Kitchen is nice with modern appliances but could use more space for folks to store their dry goods. But we loved the big picture window in the mornings. Even though it’s situated next to Hwy 20 we never heard road noise. It’s a quiet neighborhood. It’s about a 20 minute drive to West Yellowstone but the drive is gorgeous. Also super close to 2 Idaho State Parks we visited. My husband did a lot of flyfishing during our stay and this cabin is very close to amazing world renowned river spots for him. There’s a nice grocery store about 5 miles away that has most of the things you’d need. Would highly recommend if you don’t want to near all the noise and busyness in West Yellowstone but still want to visit the park frequently. A very nice quiet comfortable stay!
We were a group of eight, all adults, no children. The kitchen table was definitely the gathering place with a comfortable fit for long meals and fun laughs and dumb jokes. The living room worked great for end-of-day memories and relaxation. We were close to West Yellowstone for some fun browsing and easy access to the Park, and within minutes to the Yellowstone Playhouse which should never be missed. We also floated the river one day, slow and gorgeous float. This home was comfortable, welcoming and set up so cute. Towels were fluffy, beds were comfy and it was clean. Our hosts, Jeremy and Jen, were responsive to questions and so accommodating. The only thing we lacked was more time to be there. We would definitely choose to stay in this home again!!!!
If you’re looking for a place to stay at that feels like home, you definitely want to book the lazy moose lodge! We had small children who love exploring the outdoors, and this rental was the perfect place to fill their adventurous spirits, full! The house had everything that we needed, plus more! Kitchen was well stocked. The beds were the most comfortable that we have ever slept in away from home. Bedding was soft and comfortable also, as well as towels. The bunk house accommodations were comfy and cozy as well. We also loved the fact that the town of West Yellowstone as well as the West Entrance to Yellowstone park was an easy drive. Host were very responsive and left a nice little welcome basket. We would rent again 100% and recommend you give this one consideration. It will not disappoint.
Very nice, clean cabin near west Yellowstone (20 minutes). We had 10 people (adults) and fit comfortably. Great amenities, tastefully decorated, and felt like home. The beds were very comfortable. Nice appliances and they had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood, felt very private. We were intrigued by a moose that visited the backyard on our first evening. Check-in and communication with the hosts was smooth and easy. They even left a welcome basket and had a book with everything you needed to know about the house, the area, and suggested things to do. Would rebook if going back to the area.
Loved this house and had TONS of space.... the host was great and the house had everything we needed. It was the prime location for Yellowstone and the Tetons. Definitely would come back!
Perfect location, amazing amenities and beautiful property. The host was great to work with and communicated promptly. Would highly recommend staying here. We went to go see Yellowstone but the park was closed due to the flooding. The host was able to give us some great places to check out. Great price for this beautiful cabin.
The house was very nice. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook our meals. Bedrooms were outstanding. The master bedroom was very nice. The roads into the neighborhood were a bit rough.
We used the house as the base for our trips into Yellowstone.
