About this property
Podere Maraviglia, a 16th Century Olive Oil Farm Fully immersed in Nature
Maraviglia sits on a bucolic hill in Monte San Savino, Tuscany. The story goes that Maraviglia was named by ancient pilgrims traveling from France to the Vatican. When they stopped and looked around, they marveled at the beauty and serene energy of the place and said: “Che’ Maraviglia!” What a marvelous place. Take a break, reconnect and enjoy a sustainable way of life. Immersed in an olive grove and surrounded by oak trees, Maraviglia's palpable energy offers a truly healing experience. Take a walk through the olive groves, explore the medieval castle of Gargonza or get lost in the alleys of our charming town of Monte San Savino! Wednesday is market day... ;)

Spectacular location and gorgeous interiors. This olive oil farm makes you feel at home and back in time. It is also a very strategic location to visit all the most famous sites and towns in Tuscany, within 30-50 minutes drive we visited Pienza, Montalcino, Cortona, Montepulciano and Siena. There are also some incredible Thermal baths in Rapolano Terme! Highly recommend..! The house and the surroundings make the perfect family or friends vacation.
P.s. Make sure you hire the chef Antonella to prepare a dinner for you... better than a restaurant and at your home!
Our stay at Maraviglia was nothing short than magical! Just the smell of the air makes you feel like you are in a different dimension compared to our city apartment. The thick, uneven walls of the ancient farm house keep you fresh and the mix of Provencal and Tuscan decor just brought us back in time. We spent almost all our time at the house, enjoying home cooked meals under the outdoor “pergola” and regularly contemplated the sunset as it reflected in the spectacular infinity pool!
Francesco, the owner, produces olive oil from the groves surrounding the house and the property.. during this trip I learned I had no idea what real olive oil tastes like! I’ve already placed my order for a subscription on their website.. We couldn’t recommend more this property and we will be coming back for the olive harvest season! Grazie Mille!
