Purple Aster - a PMI Scenic City Vacation Rental

Amazing location one block from Walnut Street Bridge. Experience Chattanooga while staying in comfort in this chic apartment located within walking distance of some of Chattanooga's finest restaurants, the aquarium, museum and nature trails. This quaint apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay here in Chattanooga. You can't get much closer to the shops and restaurants of North Shore than the Purple Aster. From the street off the front porch, you have a view of the Walnut Street walking bridge that will take you across the river. Stop by Tony's Italian Restaurant in the Art District and enjoy some delicious homemade pasta and freshly made garlic bread..yum!

Please be advised, for stays 30 days or longer, we require a "mid-stay" clean approximately every 15 days. The reduced cost of these clean(s) will be added together if applicable and calculated according to length of your stay - THIS ADDITIONAL COST IS NOT CALCULATED IN THE LISTING PRICE WHEN YOU INITIALLY BOOK and is due upon booking. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. For this location, each clean will cost $65.

(For stays of 30 days or longer) A starting supply of consumable goods (paper towels, toilet paper, coffee) will be provided upon check-in. For extended stays, guests are responsible for purchasing consumable goods if they need more outside of what is initially provided.

PMI Scenic City requires a rental agreement for all of our properties. Must be 21 or older to rent this property.

Towels: $4 - $38 per item
Bedding: $8 - $66 per item
Comforter: / Encasements $88 - $141 per item
Pillows: $27 per item

Furniture / Decor / Fixture: Charged to guest according to vendor repair invoice

Excessive clean fee: $50 - $200 depending on extent of work required

Smoking inside property: $200 per day of your stay

Perfect location for Chattanooga’s North side and access to the pedestrian bridge. We had a great stay with everything as expected / pictured in the listing. Perfect for walking in town and access to good restaurants. Recommend for couples looking for a quiet getaway.

Able to walk to north side area, easy and fast car drive to downtown. Quiet area. Wish the bathroom had more light, but overall it’s a nice place.

Enjoyed staying at this small apartment. It took me a minute to find it, but once I got there it was great. Walking distance of all the fun Northshore activities. Will book again!

Fun Times in Chattanooga

Our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The VRBO was cute, small and tidy but big enough for myself and my husband.Enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect unfortunately the walking bridge was closed - it would have been nice to know this ahead of time.Everything else was great!

Cute place, great location

This apartment is cute and clean...in a great location. You can walk to many Northshore shops and restaurants and easily get to downtown, Chattanooga, too. It could use a more comfy seating area in the living room, as there is just one small loveseat for hanging out/watching tv, etc. It's a good value, even if not the most luxurious place. Pictures are accurate.

Lovely location, right next to Walnut Street pedestrian bridge that connects Northshore to downtown Chattanooga. Easy walk to Northshore locations and downtown river walk / aquarium. Quiet, peaceful location on the weekend that I stayed. Off-street parking was a appreciated benefit. The house itself is clean, cozy, and well kept. Bed was comfortable and heating/AC worked well. Minor shortcomings are that the couch is functional but not terribly comfortable; also would be nice to add a place to hang clothing (vs. having to fold & put away in dresser).

The good the bad and the ugly. We arrived around 8:30pm to check in, after stopping by the local grocery store to pick up a few days worth of groceries. Parking was good, either street or in the back. We walked into the apartment and abruptly walked into a wall of moldy musty stench that choked us out. No amount of air fresheners was going to remove the smell, we immediately began to sneeze and had trouble breathing. We immediately contacted/ messaged the property manager, but they didn’t respond until the following day. We had to leave that night, couldn’t breathe. We had driven all day and now we had to find another place to stay, it was late and we were exhausted. We found a hotel nearby. To top this all off, it was our 18 yr wedding anniversary. The following day, the property manager said they were going to check the property for any issues. Of course they didn’t come by until the original check-out date, three days later. We discussed a partial refund but we haven’t seen it and it’s been 2 months. We did enjoy our stay at the Read House hotel for the remainder of our anniversary.
