The new amenities (TV, fridge, dishwasher) were great. The hosts always keep the towels and blankets stocked up plenty! Place was warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Another great stay!

We spent most of time ice fishing and did not spend much time at cabin. It is in a great location close to where we drive out. Parking was great as we could pull in with trailer without having to disconnect. lakeside patio and yard would be great in the summer.

Nice House, Great Location

We had a great stay. The house is super nice and comfortable. The yard and the view of the lake was absolutely beautiful. We only wished there were screens on the windows and patio door, so we could open it up and listen to the waves.

I have been living in beautiful northern MN for over 35 years. Before moving to the area, my family would make weekend trips throughout the summer to take in the relaxed atmosphere and the fantastic fishing on Lake of the Woods. It is something my brother and myself with our spouses have carried over to our children and their children.

Why they chose this property


At first site this property just had to be a part of the family. It was cozy and had character. It was built to be a cabin, but soon transformed into a year-round home. Reconstruction and additions have been made to the home without losing the warm cabin feel.

What makes this property unique

The home is near the island lodge, bait shop, and has docking available upon request. It is far enough away from the city lights, but near enough to visit and take in the dining, shopping, and festivities. A biking/running path, golf course, and casino are also within close range of travel.
