The property is located in the hills of paramin with a breathtaking view of the ocean.it is very quiet, safe, cool at nights and I can't forget has a great view of the night sky. It is really a great get away!!!!!
We have visited 15 Caribbean Islands and Trinidad ranks high on the list, and no doubt Bridge Cabin played a major role. Nothing like being awakened by the sounds of Parrots and Toucans in the treetops around you. Absolutely would stay here again.
Once you get used to navigating the roads necessary to reach the cabin, you will absolutely be in love!
(Also of note, be sure to come in from the North Coast Rd side, not up Paramin Hill!!! )
This was not just a stay, it was an experience. As a birdwatcher, I enjoyed being able to have up close access to the canopy. The ocean and trees are breathtaking. The sunken tub with the view is perfect. Experience Bridge Cabin high in the mountains. <3

It was a great cabin with an amazing view. If you are looking for a semi-secluded getaway away (it is still fairly close to beaches and the city), this is a great choice.
My only gripes are some deferred maintenance issues (not too bad) and that it was advertised as a two bedroom. It is a one bedroom with a lofted area that consisted of a mattress on the floor. I don’t think that it was very useful.
The roads up to the cabin can be steep and challenging, but very doable.
The communication with the owner/manager was great. He met us for an early h cg coming with no issues.
Overall, it was a great experience that I would recommend. But understand it is more for an escape. You will not want to keep going up and down the mountains for food, etc.
Breathtaking Views, Peaceful Stay – Just Know What You’re Getting
We had a truly memorable stay at this property. The view is absolutely stunning—easily one of the best we’ve experienced anywhere. Whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or winding down at sunset, the scenery alone makes this place worth the trip. The service from the property manager was top-notch—responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The amenities were solid (about a 7/10), with everything we needed for a comfortable trip, though nothing particularly fancy. That said, the home itself is showing some age. A few of the window screens were torn, and some of the decking could use repairs. It’s definitely a place that’s past its prime in terms of finishes and upkeep, but if you come with the right expectations, the charm and the location more than make up for it.If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with unbeatable views and attentive service—and you’re okay with a few quirks—this spot delivers.
This property is absolutely amazing!!!!!!
Beautiful views and privacy.
The location is beautiful but there are hills that the average driver would not be able to handle.
Also should note that getting to the private beach is not as easy.
Would recommend this property for disconnecting with the world and getting back to nature
The views at this place was amazing. Quiet, serene....everything you need to go away and detach from the hustle and bustle life

Why they chose this property
This property is unique. It offers a modern cabin that sits on over an acre of forest land with no visible houses in front of it. Views of both the ocean and the forest. Natural vegetation, in this private gated community with access to a private beach area. High ceilings and large plates of glass provide an uninterrupted view of the ocean and wildlife from any room including the bathroom where you can choose to shower or soak in a large modern tub. Hike down to the local village or head to the popular beaches a few miles away. This is an agricultural farming community with lush landscapes fit to be captured by a painter or photographer, or inspire writers. This is raw Caribbean culture with the best of creature comfort. Oh, and the fog that offers coolness and a crisp air feel in this environment is worth a mention. You must see this one for yourself.
