Home was beautiful, wonderfully furnished, great views of the lake, and extremely well stocked. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had just about anything you could need, and there were plenty of high quality towels for everyone. I can’t really think of anything that could be improved - highly recommend!

Lake Erie vacation

Beautiful, very spacious house! The owner provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy. Accessible to Cedar Point, Cleveland, beach, ice cream, and basketball court. Enjoyed kayaks on the lake and evening firepit circle.

Property was perfect for our family vacation. Hard to imagine a better view of Lake Erie than we had by the fire pit in the back yard every night. Even better with fireworks on the Fourth of July. Best supplied VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. It had EVERYTHING and everything WORKED.

The property was excellent for group of friends who travel to various places. It had plenty of room

The property had beautiful views of Lake Erie and a perfect location to visit the Erie Islands and Cleveland attractions like the Rock & Roll museum, Westside Market, and Tremont, just to name a few. The house was well appointed with kitchen essentials and outdoor lounging chairs for warm weather gathering and fun. Our group highly recommends it.

Family celebration

This home was perfect for us. Everything we needed was available. We used the fire pit every evening and the outdoor seating area during the day. The grill was good, too. Inside was comfortable and pretty! Short drive to charming Vermilion. Weather didn’t cooperate for the islands. Great place to stay and enjoy the lake view.

Historic House with Spectacular Views of Lake Erie

We are a creative writing group from Columbus, Ohio and chose this gorgeous turn of the century home for our annual writing retreat. With it's beautiful wood trim and floors, seven bedrooms with comfy beds and cozy fireplaces there was plenty of room for us to spread out and write. The single bedroom on the third floor could have used some airing out, but I'm sure the hosts will take care of that upon request. They were super responsive. We had a wonderful stay.

4th of July Family Vacation!

Great house, well equipped, awesome backyard and fire pit, and close to everything. Home owner was very responsive to all questions. Our family of 13 had a wonderful vacation on this property. Only drawback is that two of the 3rd floor bedrooms were warm until the early morning hours. Free-standing A/C is 3rd bedroom just couldn't cool the whole 3rd floor. Grandchildren had so much fun fishing and swimming. Backyard is huge and very relaxing. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Thank you for your kind review. Your family were wonderful guests and so good to our home. And my team appreciates your honesty, so we will keep working towards a cooler third floor. The whole third floor is connected to the central air conditioning, but in a century home, the two central air systems have trouble keeping the third floor cool enough. So we added one extra free standing AC unit to the largest room and have had success in the past with fans and setting the lower floors at a cooler than normal temp, especially in the late afternoon and night. We will try to make sure guests know of the problem in the future. Thanks again.

Family Thanksgiving and Wedding

We needed a place for our family of 15 to stay for Thanksgiving and a wedding in the Cleveland area and wanted a VRBO rather than a hotel. The house was perfect with more than enough bedrooms and plenty of room for family conversations and dining together. The house is very well equipped with everything from linens and towels to outdoor toys. The kitchen had everything that we needed for our family of 15 people. Our host was very responsive to the few questions that we had. It was a great location to rest and relax together. We are also considering this property for summer vacations. I would highly recommend this property for your special get-away.
