It was a unique experience however due to the construct of the cave it tends to be quite damp and humid. There needs to be better air circulation.

Why they chose this property

We chose to settle in the traditional village of Megalochori because of the enchanting, picturesque quality of the village. There is a warmth and culture here, especially in the charming village square (less than 1 minute walking distance from the villa) with restaurants, tavernas, cafes and shops along the cobblestone streets that sell local wares. The village is also great because of its centrality on the island where it is easily accessible from all points. The villa is in a wonderful location as it is on a hiking path that continues from the caldera volcano cliff, through the village square and then through the vast centuries-old vineyards.
