Welcome to our home for our first rental season. This is a renovated stone house full of character, located in the heart of the village of Auxillac. It's unique, blending old and new. The main part of the house has been connected to an old barn, which houses the kitchen and, upstairs, bedroom 1 (double bed 140x200cm) with an adjoining toilet. The roof terrace offers mountain views. Also in the main part of the house are the living room/library, the bathroom, and a room that can be used as a dressing room. On the lower level are bedrooms 2 (queen bed 160x200cm) and 3 (two single beds 80x200cm), which are adjoining. You must go through bedroom 3 to reach bedroom 2. It is possible to join the beds in room 3 to make a double bed. On this level, there is also a room with a toilet and sink with a mirror, as well as another room with a washing machine. It is possible to enter from the street and store equipment for leisure activities (hiking, cycling, fishing, etc.). All rooms are accessible by stairs. No ground-floor bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with: dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven, microwave, induction hob, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker and Senseo coffee maker (depending on your needs), all necessary crockery, basic cooking supplies (oil, salt, pepper, coffee, etc.), dishwasher pods, dish soap, hand soap, tea towels, toilet paper, and paper towels. The house is situated between two small gardens and is surrounded by stone walls. A small outbuilding completes the property and encloses the first garden. It will not be accessible to you. It is used for storing garden equipment. A table and chairs are available for outdoor seating. A private parking space is adjacent to the house. It is also possible to park in front of the house where there is a 3-space car park, or in the lower part of the village in the inn's square. These parking areas are free. The house is located 10 minutes from La Canourgue and the A75 motorway, 15 minutes from the Causse de Sauveterre plateau, 20 minutes from Lac du Moulinet, 30 minutes from the Aubrac plateau (Col de Bonnecombe), and 40 minutes from the Tarn Gorges (La Malène). Hiking and mountain biking trails are accessible from the village. The Lot River flows below the village, 5 minutes away. Swimming is possible in a safe area for children, and there's a picnic area 10 minutes away. I can provide information to anglers who are interested about the nearby rivers. Please feel free to contact me for further details about your stay.
