About this property

Timmerman Island Cottage on Bobs Lake

Located in rural Ontario’s largest wilderness lake, Bobs Lake, our cottage is midway between Toronto and Montreal. We are 1.5 hours from Ottawa. ​Family-owned for over 60 years, this beautiful cedar cottage is situated on a private 150-acre island. ​Our cottage is pet-friendly, but we do ask for a pet deposit. Please bring a dog bed and don't let your dog on the furniture.

IMPORTANT - This is an island property, you will need to rent or bring your own boat. We can help coordinate this for you.​ We do NOT provide life jackets. It is important that you bring enough life jackets, especially for your child or children. Being on an island, and with the cottage so close to the waterfront, it is recommended that young children wear life jackets at all times when outdoors.

​We require a signed rental agreement to complete the rental commitment. The cottage rents to families and mature groups of adults only. We'll send you our House Rules before your stay. Smoking is not permitted
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the commencement of the rental will be refunded less a $500 CND cancellation fee.
There will be a $500 CND extra cleaning/damage deposit and a $250 CND deposit per pet deposit.
No outdoor fires or fireworks and no smoking. There are fire bans in place by the county during the summer months.
