this 1br/1ba was the perfect place for me and my husband during our stay in Mobile. Close to downtown and Dauphine Street. This was only my second time booking a VRBO and Chris made the process pain-free.
The location was perfect . I like to walk every day and I felt safe on my walks and the neighbourhood was lovely . The accommodations themselves were nice and comfortable. There was no toaster available which would be a helpful addition. Additionally, the sink in the kitchen and bathroom and bathtub drains wasn’t draining efficiently. Just wanted to bring these issues to your attention for future guests.
Nice, clean accomodation within walking distance of a few restaurants. Layout and amenities are great. Loved sitting on the porch in the mornings. Would stay there again. Only complaint would be that the mattress needs to be replaced.
Seriously fantastic property - priced under value, large newly updated and well appointed with tech. Great neighborhood, beautiful part of the city, everything within walking distance. Plus the management was unbelievably caring and went above and beyond.
I travel a lot for work, months out of the year. By and far one of the easiest and most enjoyable work trips in years - and that was made so because of the value and convenience of my stay.
Thank you!!
We rented this lovely apartment for 2 days. It is updated, yet everything, retains it's lovely architectural charm. We were impressed with the huge big screen televisions in both the bedroom and in the living room. It was nice to have a washer and dryer right our our door. Very nice quartz countertops in the bathroom and in the kitchen. There was PLENTY of room. You must try this apartment. I will look for an excuse to stay again.
I stayed with my husband, 6month old baby, and 2 dogs. There was plenty of room for all of us, and we were not tripping over each other! The baby slept in a pack n play in the kitchen to keep her away from us while we watched TV, but there was definitely enough space to put her playard in the bedroom or the living room too. The space was clean and all the furniture very comfortable. And we loved the large porch! Very pretty.
A very nice property centrally located for all of our wedding activities we were attending. We loved the beautifully renovated apartment in the 1800s home. We were not given the code to the unit, only the one for the downstairs entry door. I had to e mail to get it. Luckily they responded quickly and we didn't have to wait too long in the hot hall. The unit needed some attention inside and out: three lightbulbs were out in the bathroom, and the lights in the staircase were completely out so we had to use our cellphone flashlight to see each of the three nights. This was dangerous. The front porch and our balcony were filthy and needed cleaning. The king bed was very comfortable. Despite the problems we were very comfortable and would stay here again. Good value for the money.

Liked: Listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Unresponsive management
This is an old house in need of a major face lift. The lights in the interior stairwell were out so going to the upstairs apartment at night was in total darkness. Luckily I was able to use my phone’s flashlight to see the key code to get in. There is no handrail on part of the stairs so using them in total darkness is dangerous.
I was there for eight days and the lights were never fixed. I messaged the host every day to request they fix the lighting. On several days the host did not respond at all. When they did respond it was to say that maintenance had been informed but maintenance never appeared.
I have stayed at many VRBOs over the years and have always had a good experience. This is the first time I have left a negative review but the host was extremely negligent in not fixing this dangerous condition.
Location is quiet, walkable to a couple of local establishments and it is a convenient drive to anywhere you may need to go locally or in the surrounding area. The apartment was great for my three month stay but be advise it does not have a dresser in the bedroom, just the closet for your clothing. There were no issues with the wifi. The host and the staff were nice and communication with both were amazing. I would stay again and would highly recommend.
I had the best experience in this VRBO. The hosts were so kind and responsive to me all summer long. Had the entire 2nd floor of the house to myself, with the washer and dryer right outside my front door.
It was hard to enjoy the outdoor deck because the heat from outside was so hot and the back door would stick shut. The couch opens up to a bed, so I was able to have the occasional guest stay over.
Would definitely stay in this property again!
