Cozy Lake Murray lake front house with dock

Perfect Lake Murray vacation spot for the family. So much to do & something for everyone - a shallow area for the little ones to play & deep water for swimming & floating. Includes a swing set for the kiddos & a canoe and kayak to explore the lake. Has a large yard great for frisbee, whiffle ball, glowstick freeze tag or lying on a blanket & gazing at the stars.
House is located at the end of cove with a dock for your boat or fishing the famous Lake Murray. A great blue heron & several breeds of ducks hang out around the dock on most days.
Nestled beside a large, old magnolia tree, a glassed sunroom allows an unobstructed view of the lake. A large deck with Adirondack chairs is a great place to watch the sun setting over the lake as the purple martins arrive for their summer vacation.
We invite you to come and enjoy your own private get-a-way at Magnolia on Murray. It's a three-bedroom house with 2.5 bathrooms. There is a queen bed in 2 bedrooms and a twin bed & twin bunk beds with a trundle in the third bedroom. Appliances include a full-size stainless refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, and coffee maker. House has central heat and air and a propane grill for outdoors.
So bring a good book, your swimsuit, your fishing pole and come relax.
The house is located just 6 miles from beautiful Chapin, SC and 2 miles from Dreher Island State Park.

As pet owners ourselves we love providing you a place to bring your fur babies. We ask that you include pets when adding your number of guests and pay the $75 pet fee when booking. If you do not and we find that there have been pets in the home, we will be forced to charge additional fees.

This home was absolutely perfect! We stayed for Thanksgiving week while visiting our daughter at USC, and it exceeded all of our expectations. Our 10-year-old son spent hours happily fishing off the dock, and we loved relaxing in the sunroom and on the deck while enjoying the beautiful weather. We did have one minor issue during our stay, but the owners responded quickly and took care of it right away. We would definitely stay here again!

Best VRBO ever

With this place is without any doubt the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. The house is not fancy but it's actually great. The location couldn't be better. It's back in a cove and only 2 miles from the state park. We will definitely stay here again and I can't wait to get back.

Don’t judge the property by the outside. The inside of the house has been well-renovated and is very clean and well-apportioned. The dock is in a shallow cove which is great for children. The house and garage has fun games for children.

Great Lake house

We would stay again! The kitchen is well stocked, including spices and coffee! Things are neatly organized. Check in and check out process was easy. The dock is quite nice and affords a beautiful view of the sunset over the lake. We were there on a cold February weekend, but still enjoyed the deck and dock, then moved inside to the warmth of the gas fireplace.

Beautiful and clean!

This house was so beautiful and so clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more from the stocked coffee bar to the basket of snacks and extra toiletries. The hosts responded immediately when we tripped a breaker and some lights went off and made sure we were okay. The beds and furnishings were comfortable and we had plenty of towels and blankets. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
